  • An update on my citrus and how I am caring for them inside. The upsides, the downsides, the learning curves. What have we learned, what we are doing about it. Also a surprise intro to the pepper plant! Found some aphids on the Moro blood orange around 9:15 mark of the video which I exterminated later after the video.

@ 9:15 we see a patch of aphids on one of the new leaves of the moro blood orange. I saw this when double checking the video and then inspected the tree. Manually exterminated aphids I could see and then all the plants got a heavy spray down of soapy water to kill off remaining infestation. Did not find any aphids on anything other than the blood orange tree. Everything got a spray down anyway and will continue to get soapy water spray downs every day or two so this doesn’t become a bigger problem.

I am using soapy water spraying onto the leaves for the aphids. I also mist them regularly to keep humidity up. Think the pepper plant brought the aphids in so put it somewhere else and am spraying it as well with soapy water.
