- Using our Peterbilt 337 with a Miller Industries, Century LCG12 bed to recover and tow a Ford Mustang after it went "mudding". I know viewers are going to ask me for "the rest of the story", but I do not know what happened before or after the crash. All I know is what you see in this video. Thanks for watching and God bless.

That special bond between a man and his wood block should never be taken for granted.
After a few minutes it was clear that we were going to be treated to another master class in how to use a rollback for a solo recovery. Great work as always Ron
Ron Pratt. You are a true professional. I live in California and a friend of mine was in an accident(no injuries). I asked my friend if he called you, jokingly, but he said the tow truck driver that responded does watch your videos. You are an inspiration to the industry.
David is awesome. Most people at my job would honk and laugh. The team you build is a reflection of your management. Nice work.
David seems like a great employee for the company. I know here in Baltimore, people I work with they would stop and watch but never offer to lift a finger to help out on anything.
"You never know what may be the story behind some of these crashes."
You got that right, Ron. I crashed a car during a blizzard while trying to get to work (no injuries but I did have a massive surge in adrenalin lol). The officer that arrived had automatically assumed that I was driving too fast for conditions. When he asked what happened, I told him "Everything was fine until I sneezed while coming around the curve and that's when I lost control". He did not ticket me for driving too fast. :-)
Good thing the cop had enough common sense to understand how when you sneeze for some reason your eyes close.
So if i crash in a blizzard around a corner ill just tell the officer I sneezed got it 👍
Ohh. you sneezed. I got rear ended at the end of a highway on ramp that had a red light (pittsburgh) on red. Lady was non cooperative & she told officer "she sneezed" & didnt see a redlight. I told dispatch/cop she may have CORONAVIRUS if shes sneezing. She gave me the dirtiest look & said "I was overreacting"! Good times!
I may have done the same thing in my Subaru, though thankfully it wasn't totaled, nor did I get a ticket. Just went a little too fast around a corner
Another good one Ron!!! We need another 18-wheeler recovery!!!
Wonder why the Trooper would not let you into the car. Your right - would have made your pick up so much simpler. Good Job on the recovery as usual, even accounting for the multi positions of the block. Watch your six and have a safe day.
Always nice seeing the people who give you and your truck space when driving by.
I was waiting for you to post " plus cause not another scratch and don't get it dirty!" Lord knows I am just kidding!! If there is anything I understand about it's law enforcement! Over 30 years of it. You handle everything with such respect, integrity and capability I always love to watch you and sometimes I can actually figure out how you might handle something 🤣🤣 It doesn't impress my hubby that I can figure it out all by myself but it sure impresses the dickens out of me!! 🤣🤣Stay safe, God bless and we'll keep y'all in our prayers
Every time I hear that winch, I can't help but remember the scene from Planes, Trains & Automobiles, with John Candy then Steve Martin screwing around with the seat in that hire car!
Morning Ron! Plz stay safe out there it looks like a very busy road. I know it's killing u not to get inside the car to help stear it. Thnxs for the videos! Keep up the good work
Another “master class” recovery Ron. You make the difficult look easy. Enjoyed the vid, as always. No Saturday is complete without my fix of Mid West Trucking. Roy W Nantwich UK
Hello Ron, well done. Another awkward situation with restrictions in place by PD. Ever the professional you got the job done. Thanks for sharing and continue to stay safe 😷
Wait, what? No power lines? Drivers who apparently know how to drive safely and courteously, slow down and move over? No Prattfalls? And a relatively easy pick? Who are you, what alternate reality is this, and what have you done with our favorite master 'tater mentor?
Made me laugh!!! Thanks I needed that. God bless.
@@RonPratt Glad I could help. Laughter is the best medicine. God Bless, brother, stay safe.
@@RonPratt The rollback with the arrows sure has been an awesome tow truck. Hope u have stayed safe..
Sincerely & Respectfully Sir..
Funniest part is that 6 out of 10 “stolen vehicles” involved in an accident are usually the owner reporting it stolen because they or someone close to them were driving impaired or just acting recklessly behind the wheel. Another great job Ron!!! You’re a true consummate professional in the world of towing and recovery.
At least this was a quicky albeit a muddy one. Always love watching.
Well that car will go to the junk yard next and not by off road either! Good job Ron with the way you had to load it!
I never get tired of watching the speed up at the end. Great job as always! Huge fan.
Good job! I miss my wrecker but I got to get better after my open heart surgery so I can get back out there and go car fishing again
Glad that went well 🙏🏻 Before you know it you’ll be back out rescuing cars again!
Good luck to you, Aric. May God Bless you & heal your chest real soon!
As someone who potentially has to deal with heart surgery somewhere down the line I wish you all the best.
I am grateful for people such as yourself who do these types of jobs.
Just love the way you make these recoveries look ridiculously easy, keep up the great work 👍 Thumbs up from the U.K.
The owners are going to be heartbroken to see what happened to their Mustang. Most of us guessed that it was a drunk driver or stolen. Either way going too fast, missed the curve and went flying. Was amazed we didn't see any air bags and the drink cup was still upright in it's holder! Great job on solving the problem and quick since you couldn't touch the interior.
Nice to see the Police there to document and have your back.
Best to You and Yours.
Always impressed with the meticulous care taken on these recoveries based on the great storehouse of experience and knowledge you have to do the job right and carefully. Keep up the good work. Appreciate the videos. Thanks.
As always Ron, your expertise makes even difficult recoveries look easy. Stay safe and thanks for sharing.
Very nice recovery. I never knew that truck was so capable till I started watching you. I always knew to request a flat bed on all tows. Those smaller trucks that leave the tires down. They just don't treat a vehicle right. Great work.
On the positive... at least he (or she) didn't roll it. Well done as always! You always show the utmost professionalism and creativity in getting vehicles and equipment from difficult locations!
Ron your new guy David seems to be a great fit for your company
RON PRATT, I thought I lost you. I'm glad l found you once again.
I watch one other so far and you Mr. Pratt take the cake. I never liked tow operators, I now stand corrected, thank you for my re-education.
thank you run for everything you do you've inspired me to be a tow operator
Ron, you are the Master.......you made that look so easy! Love your videos so please keep them coming! Stay safe and healthy!

I’ve never clicked so fast in my life as soon as the notification came up I was so happy to see Ron with a new video god bless @Ron Pratt
AMEN!!!
A little Geometry and Physics plus 20 years experience you too can drop a Mustang on the deck like Ron. Love watching you work your majic.
ron just wanted to say you put a smile on my face and i recently lost my grandfather/father and i had to be put into a mental hospital cuz i was depressed and i started watching u again after i got out and when im sad i watch you and you put a smile on my face but i will always be happy as long as you add more content for me to watch and i also live in missouri i live in saint louis i used to live down in Pemiscot county and i lived there for 4 years then moved here i love the content keep up the amazing work
Every time someone complains about the way new cars are built, I link your videos, showing the devastation that people are walking away from relatively unharmed now.
I do vehicle recoveries and the state of some of the cars people walked away from is crazy you only have to go back 20/30 years and the occupants would've been lucky to end up in a wheelchair.
Yep. We’ve come a long way. I don’t care what it looks like when it’s done, I just want my family safe. You can always get another car
Hi Ron that was a great recovery you sure do know your angels and how to get the car on the bed without using the steering. 👍👍🇺🇲🇺🇲😎😎
As a person who’s not that religious-but , I am a firefighter. Because of you going to MVAs hoping for the best for everyone is a thing now.
It may have been a "simple" recovery but it was was a joy to watch you work as always. ever the professional. I love to watch your video's.
Agreed
@@jonathanbair523 As always
I hate to see that "new" Ford Horse all toe up. Praying the driver is okay. A most memorable merry-go-round. The summer before my second year of college I was selling books door-to-door in Kentucky-Ohio Area. My Supervisor and I were driving to our Sunday diner -division meeting. I don't remember everything. If the roads were wet or we took a curve wrong but ended up in a slight rollover crash. It scared the bejeeves out of me. It is still seared in my brain 46 years later!
Once more another good rescue of a crashed vehicle by Ron. Happy travels to you all.
Text book recovery! You make look so easy! Keep it up, Ron!
Jeeze. It's almost like you've done this before.
Mucho many times too!!!
You did a great job getting the mustang out of the cove and I like how you continue to stay safe keep up the good work that you are doing
Always look forward to Friday's.
Breakfast with Ron.
Hope everyone keeps safe and healthy.
Great job getting it on the flat bed, no damage to the car or the rig! Nobody to help, always a do it yourself job, no matter what!
It's amazing how many cars involved in accidents and there is no driver present are reported stolen! We always make good use of the snatch block and take photos of it as we get paid an extra £15 for it!
Great work. You make this so easy even though it is not. Thanks for this and other video of your work.
Fascinating, Thoroughly enjoyed it
That was a muddy workout Ron climbing the hill pulling cable they done a number to it. God Bless Stay Safe.
Wow, what an operator. A pleasure to watch.
God bless you Ron. Please stay safe out there among the crazies on the highways.
Thanks for sharing Ron
Thanks for sharing Ron 🙏🏻
Ron u do great work and you got in my mind the best equipment I use to work for a company in ft worth tx that all we had
12:00 - unhook the snatch and putting the multi use recovery block in front of the right rear wheel wound have spun the car around just the same. (Not that it mattered one bit in this recovery, I just like to talk about different ways to do things because we might need to do it a little bit differently next time, and it's yet another function of what could easily be the most useful tool on the whole darned truck. Those snatch blocks are awesome, but they don't last forever and always tend to break when you need them most).
Another fine job, thanks for sharing, sir!
Nice, simple, not real muddy! Enjoyed watching
The car driver: I believe I can fly!!!!
and just like in the Coyote and ROadrunner cartoon, the car paused midflight just before slamming into the ground.
"I belive i can touch the sky"
Yes sir
🤣🤣🤣
CMDRFandragon lmao 🤣
Another great job by the true professional ron pratt you make it look so easy but it isnt and thanks to david for asking if you needed his help that is a great employee he is worth keeping ron one thing why didmt you strap the hood down i know it could have broken loose and went flying was just wondering not important but a thought sir and you did a great job recovering that car asalways ypu are a true professional and i am very proud to watch and be a subscriber to your channel sir you were in a very dangerous position and at least the officer had your back as far as the people slowing down and moving over i do learn something new when i watch you on the tows you do very much appreciated god bless you and all the people in the company ya are deserving of a congratulations for your professionalism doing these jobs thank you very much. Benton from texas
Yes! another great new video. greetings from the Netherlands
thanks, and god bless
thank you for sharing God Bless everyone
Nice work 👌👍 thanks for sharing God bless you and yours 🙏 stay safe out there Ron and Crew have a great weekend
I admire what you do, it's such an important job, but so dangerous!
Good job Ron, but I missed the tie down. I always like to see the ways you come up with to keep the wreck on the deck.
I buy mi first tow truck never tow before and i learn a lot with your video thanks for that 🙏🏼 God bless
Good job as always Ron hope you and your family are well and stay safe
The way you snatched that thing out of the raven like that is pure skill and experience. As someone who as never operated a recovery truck before, I was like you should pull up why is he so far back... But those are the words of a novice. Well done!!
Ron pratt nice job hope you have a great weekend love your videos you do a great job on your videos keep up the great work
You make it look so easy.
hello from a fellow towmen from idaho like your vids
now that sir, was a damn good recovery.
Great video Mr. Pratt be safe
Great recovery Ron! Thanks for sharing. Just another Mustang getting back to it's grass roots.🤣🤣🤣
"...Stolen...." uh-huh
lol
Great job as always, Ron ... :-)
Good morning Ron. Not the first, but only 3 posts when I arrived. As usual, I watched the video before posting. Have a great weekend! You need the ULTRA version of the wood block with slugs added to drop in the holes on the rail side of the bed.
Top job! Have a nice weekend
Cool! Great job.
God Bless and protect you and yours as well...
You are a damn awesome tow truck operator. I love this channel
Great video ienkoyed your good work. Thank You for sharing. 👍👍👍🤗
Hallo from Albania and God bless you, your family and USA
As always a great story Ron.
Experience at work here. That went so smooth and quick.
Nice moves, Ron! That rollback sure comes in handy.
Knowing how to use it right seems to come in handier. I've watched a guy take longer than this to load a mostly-functional (busted radiator, but could still steer, roll, and even run for a minute or two as needed) Ford Focus from the flat, wide shoulder of a highway.
Nailing a furring strip or a piece of angle iron along one edge of the bottom of your notched block should help it sit on the edge and not slide back with the cable.
...GOOD ONE, STAY SAFE..
That poor Mustang. Editorial: how dare them make you walk on a dangerous road.!! Could have sent a couple of officers to watch your back. Great video Ron. Glad you were safe, Pqraise the Lord. 🙏
Great job as always
Hello from The Netherlands 🇳🇱
Very good performance in this circonstances. For your chance it was a light car and not a big SUV or a truck ! 👍
Good morning Ron Pratt
Ron,we've noticed that your breathing heavier since you had pneumonia, are you having that checked?. Got to stay on top of your health. We love watching you,be safe and God bless
I was JUST thinking the same thing, Carol. Ron, no foul in getting that looked at. Every day is a blessing.
least made short video I like your channel so much. From Pakistan
Great video Ron!
Well Sir Ron, You will have to start a training course for some of those, who want to be like you. They purchased a Semi-Tow Truck. But, have no idea how to use it. No PPE, No Radios, No concept of rigging, crawling all over the pickup they were trying to get back on its wheels; as they were winching it. The police were even shaking their heads; thinking they were going to have to call Medics for them.
excelente y profesional como siempre amigo Ron saludos
Ron Pratt does it again!
You make it look easy everytime
Just a thought on your multi-purpose wood block. Every time you use it you seem to reposition in a few times as it slides on the truck bed.If you cut 2 pieces of 3x1 about an inch or 2 longer than your block is high, bolt one at either end of your block so you can rotate them out the way, or swing them down to act as catch teeth on the edge of the truck bed. just remember a couple of big flat washers between the pieces of wood to allow free rotation.
Good job thank you stay safe God Bless 👍🇺🇸😎
