Oh I am definitely with you. I love your title already. Modern black culture is exactly that: trash. If you want healthy family and you want to grow individually as a person and be a more qualified husband, wife, mother, and father who actually cares about whether or not your fruit from your body or actually productive citizens and not just good employees, you must know your black history but you must abandoned black culture and seek out better knowledge because this culture ain’t It.

If Black culture is "Trash" why is it heavily replicated? Why are Latinos serving Gumbo? Why are their Asian rappers? Why do non-traditional students attend HBCU's? Why are non-Blacks heavily entertained by Blacks? Why did Tulsa get bombed???

I understand what you are saying as the son of a Liberian/Ghanian father who graduated with a bachelors degree in civil engineering and my Liberian mother🇱🇷who graduated with a bachelors degree in nursing from temple university I have always get different than black kids growing up. I have went to private and charter schools for most of my life. When I entered high school my dad did not send me to the local high school because he did not want me to hang around bad kids. I once went to a high school gathering to talk about black issues and I felt so unwelcome even though I wanted to be there. My sisters went to the public high school because they could not go to the local charter school and they were asked by black American girls why do you talk white? I was told by a Mexican kid I talk white and dress like a white boy. There is a certain tension between the black American and African immigrants because the African immigrants have a completely different culture that is similar to white culture. I have as associate in arts degree from a state college and a Bachelors of Arts in interdisciplinary entrepreneurship studies I want to be a very successful entrepreneur I work two jobs and weightlift 4 times a week and I have NEVER had a girlfriend my biceps are bigger that 17 inches and I am at least 6.5% body fat but I prefer to keep to myself at my college radiation my friend from high school told me not to marry a black girl I was offended and asked him why and he said that he did not want me to deal with garbage in his mind he was PROTECTING me. I would not say black culture is trash but mainstream black culture seems to be ghetto and and ghetto culture is trash. This is why 30% of educated black men marry out Kevin Samuel’s said if you were 30% of your best customers 30% and GROWING you would need to figure out why don’t black the customer black the company. I will probably marry outside my race and if I marry a black women she will probably be a Caribbean or African I no longer care what anyone thinks black America needs to change.

Many people look down on the Afro American community because of fatherhood highly being absents, thug mentality, resisting arrest, Afro Americans killing Afro Americans, Afro Americans faces craps from other Afro Americans. But for you, please still be proud of your race. Be proud that u want positive surroundings.

15:55 You’re right. The culture that excuses degeneracy and looks to degeneracy as a viable path is one of the major factors. I think we also need to focus on the lack of character and accountability by - in my opinion - the majority of black people today. You could argue this is true for Americans generally, but focusing on the black community, *most* black people *blame others* for their shortcomings.

Stop visiting predominately Black countries? Stop watching films with a predominately Black cast? Stop shopping at Black-owned? Stop reading books by Black authors? Stop eating gumbo? Brother, stand your ground. I’m a give you some inspiration here. And it is from the great stoic philosopher Marcus Aurelius, “If you are ever tempted to look for outside approval,” Epictetus said, “realize that you have compromised your integrity. If you need a witness, be your own.” This was something Marcus Aurelius wrestled with more than Epictetus because he was a public person. He saw crowds cheering him in the street. People flocked to court to heap praise on him (before asking for favors). He also had to put up with their jeers and criticisms.
Eventually he realized that he couldn’t pay attention to any of it. He had to hold himself to his own standard-an inner scorecard-and ignore everything else. The clapping was meaningless. The boos were too. What mattered was his own integrity-he had to be his own witness.
Is it not true that most people are not very bright, hold regressive or alarming opinions, and generally follow the herd? And yet somehow we think it’s vindication when they love us? It’s nonsense. It’s pretty strange how much we value the respect of people we don’t respect…and the lengths we’re willing to go to get it.
For a culture that doesn’t value education, they will not value your new and free thoughts.

I'm disappointed in the path and stance in which the African American community has taken.
Maybe I'm wrong but in my opinion, build us up, don't turn your back. Also build yourself up and stop waiting on others to build for you. I just feel like we are in this relationship against each other as a culture.
Example: it's not that Fani Willis is not wrong, it's not that she is on National TV making a spectacle of herself reflecting on our estranged unity as a whole, however, to be of color tearing her down in reference to her weight, hair, big Fannie etc is ignorant. I thought to myself, comment on the facts without comments of her makeup and name calling in which people of color face everyday and they are NOT on trial. That is what other communities want to see. They love that negative energy. You don't hear the other communities tearing down the name, appearance, hair, weight, stature when they have issues. No, it's strictly fact reporting.
    We are lost, so lost....

Well, the root is the first teacher, the mother. When you have a culture of children being brought up by overgrown teenagers, this is the result. We need to change the image of black culture. Bring back masculinity to the culture. They would rather be an entertainer than a doctor. They would rather be athletes or rappers because they believe that’s the way out of poverty. Poverty is a mindset, and American black culture is addicted to poverty. Using the race card isn’t permissible in this day and age because systemic oppression doesn’t exist. Even someone with a felony has an opportunity to get their lives together. You’ll see other races of individuals arrive in America with nothing but prospering better than in their own country.

If your peers are not goal-oriented or pursued high achievement, then they can easily become part of the thug culture. I was the only black student from my high school graduating class to go to college. There were 28 blacks students in my high school class of 596 students. I was named as one of the 12 outstanding students in my class and won a scholarship, the same as my siblings before and after me. The difference is that we never felt inferior to anyone, and that's what my great parents made sure of. I stayed at the prom with my date (A beautiful black college student who was two years older but had attended the same high school and was also named as one of the outstanding students in her graduating class) and all the other black students walked out because they didn't like the music. See the mentality. They felt outside the mainstream and I felt part of it. They called me a "white boy" for being academic oriented. I live in a black community because I love it and have beautiful memories of growing up in one.

To say I don't like "Black Culture" is a gross generalization. It doesn't sound like an educated statement. Culture consists of so many things. (People do anything for shock value these days..) People who judge the world soley based on their own experience will always have a narrow view. There's elements of every culture that are positive and negative. I've lived in three different countries. I've also lived in the suburbs and the "hood". I've been to private school and public. I've also lived in all white neighborhood and all black neighborhoods and mixed neighborhoods. I've been to an hbcu as well. The more one experiences in life and travels, the broader your experience is and the less generalizations a person will make. I'm not on any side left, right; I align with people like mlk said the character first. They could be white, black or whatever. Self hate is terrible..To say you hate your own people/culture and everyone else is fine is odd. Black people are not a monolith and neither is black culture. Black culture is broad (like any other culture) and encompasses so many different ways of talking, dressing, traditions, beliefs, etc. Feel like you’re confusing black culture with political sides. Maybe travel some more. In the military I’ve had black friends from literally everywhere all with different takes, ideology, and political stances. From this whole video it feels to me like you’re just disagreeing with the left leaning part of culture rather than us as a whole. Of course the authors were all White and consequently the characters were also. I didn't particularly care. I learned about science because of SF.
Black kids are being sabotaged in school. The teachers act like being intelligent means being subservient to Authority.
A nun told me, "You will get into a good high school but you won't do well.". I had refused to be a patrol boy after she was on my ass about it for two weeks.
Two Black kids paid me $100 each to take their SATs after making fun of me for 3 years in high school. We have to get out of school eventually and the rubber is going to hit the road or the road is going to hit your face.

We don’t care bruh 🤷🏾‍♂️ Yall old ppl had Yall turn step aside and watch the younger generation bring this wicked country to its knees. We didn’t create what the world see today they did.

The exact same thing every younger generation before you said. In 30 years, your kids will say the same thing about you.

Young bro we're not that old either. At 30 we didn't create this world either. Baby boomers have more influence on the world than Gen X and Millennials.

Man you must be a teenager. You do know that any generation born after Baby boomers has little impact on society today. The older generation was before our time. They didn't want to teach their sons and nephews. They wanted to compete with the younger generations and now we're all 30s and 40s with very little skills.

“Bring the country to its knees” - what are you talking about? You clearly have never once cracked open a history book 😂

Your black culture may have been trash but not mine. I had great parents. I lived in a great community. We did not feel inferior to anyone. We excelled and achieved our goals. We were raised to be part of society and pursued our own dreams.

What does that mean? Black culture was invented by rich Jewish men in the 1970s and emulated through movies and music.

@@mateaukalua4426 That makes zero sense. Black culture is the collection of behaviors of black people in America. Disclaiming blackness is actually very typically black.

The blackest thing he could say would be “we was kangz!” And “black men are gods!” And “black culture is the archetype” 😂. This man is in *the minority*. The majority celebrate degeneracy.

I understand you feel Black Culture is this way but what are y'all Black men and women thinking on besides calling the culture trash are y'all just ranting about the current state the condition of the Negro ones in particular of the Transatlantic descendant lineages are lost they been lost yes but rather complain about the condition of our people I pray for our people even when in this condition a Negro today is an exile because hes of Israel and the only reason why we are in the shape is because many of us are conditioned after all things captivity done to us I understand what I say is unpopular its relatable but however you have to realize God's people deviated from him thus his culture turned against him they were the light to the nations both their own and others outside of the Israelite way...
