June Colour in a UK Tropical Garden

Hey there! I've been noticing some really cool colours popping up in the garden lately, and I thought I'd share some of my favourites with you. Some of them have a tropical vibe, while others just bring a much-needed burst of vibrancy to the whole place.

I love that fatsia spider web. Your coral bells are a nice touch to add to green leafed plants. I had a red hot poker plant but it must've rotted or something. It never came back a few years ago, and I'm in zone 7B. Spirea look nice and the flowers are a bonus.😊

Hello, yes, with the exception of the Cordyline "Charlie Boy," all of them do.

Yes, my plant is in a pot. They grow quite large and can overwhelm other plants, so it is best to keep them in pots.

Thanks. We have experienced unusual weather patterns in recent years, particularly during the winter of 2022/2023, when temperatures consistently dropped to -8 degrees Celsius for an entire week. Unfortunately, this extreme cold caused significant damage to the cordyline plants in my garden, but everything else was ok. This past winter has been relatively mild, with only a few instances of temperatures reaching -5 degrees Celsius.
