Remote Camping & Kayak Fishing on Panama's Wild Pacific Coast (ROOSTERFISH) - Part 2
Вставка
- Опубліковано 28 вер 2024
- In this episode we're still camping and fishing WAY off the grid on Panama's remote southern coast to see if we can live off the land and the sea for 3 days. In part 2 we wake up to howler monkeys in our camp, catch clean & cook up a variety of fish like yellowfin tuna and almaco jacks, enjoy some time in the freshwater lagoon behind our tents and kayak fish for GIANT roosterfish offshore in our front yard. This is the adventure of a lifetime. DISCLOSURE: I may earn a commission when you use one of our coupons/links to make a purchase.

Such a fun trip
What an absolutely INCREDIBLE series. Just keeps getting better! Can't wait for Part 3!
Robert this trip is so spectacular! I've been planning a Los Buzos trip for 2 years now, and now it looks even cooler with the ability to go camping!!
Yeah! Still got a few slots left on these trips in March
@@YakFishField Is there a time of year that is better for Roosterfish and/or Marlin?
I love this guy I don't know how I found him but I'm glad I did
Thanks brother
Same man! I’m glad I found his channel
Same here
Same bro!
We used to camp out near Puerto Bella in Panama when I was teaching scuba classes there. We often had fresh lobster to eat that we caught during our dives. We had some great night dives off of the beach there.
Great diving along this coast too. I’ve never done scuba
This is like a dream trip for me… absolutely mind blowing. Favorite part was when he finally got his rooster! Trophy fish for sure! Jealous! Amazing video. New favorite channel. Keep up the awesome work, Robert!
Thanks so much Nick! You can book this trip! Email info@losbuzos.com for info if ya want to join us one day
@@YakFishField I actually sent an email this morning for some rough information on the trip! Thanks for the reply!

thanks for another awesome video I don't think I could sleep on those rocks but it looks like a lot of fun, I remember living in Southeast Alaska in the early 70's and lived in a Tee Pee in the middle of nowhere. we ate lots of steelhead. stay safe
Very cool, steelhead is delicious. And we raked some sandy spots but yeah, we’ve found a few new locations since this scouting mission haha
straight up 5 star restaurant meal at the end there. amazing
So good
“Green salsa” is that similar to Marylands blue claw crab mustard? Great part 2, you guys are killing it!
Haha nah the crab mustard serves a purpose, the green salsa was washed off 😂

Great content keep making them
hi I'm new subscribe from Philippine🇵🇭🇵🇭 beautiful spot for camping💕
Looks like a tamarind fruit. The fruit with the beans. We use that for sauces and soups in the Philippines.
Interesting
I love the big roosters and stuff, but being a species guy chasing fish from 2" micros all the way up to sharks, all the different species you catch is so cool. I bet the river probably has some amazing and unique species too micro to big. Would love to hit this trip someday.
Damn this looks like the perfect day, just need a few more adult beverages than were filmed lol
Might’ve been 😏
I think its tamarind anda passion fruit , need to open to be sure
epic!
Can’t wait to do it again!
I live in Las Tablas panama, 2 1/2 hours from where you guys went camping. Would love to go there for a day fishing trip.
We go to Las Tablas all the time for groceries. It’s 2 hours away. Would love to have you out! All the info is at www.losbuzos.con
Nice video bro
Thanks Shane
Yas should do a collaboration with bluegabe an his brother deermeatfor dinner
I’d love to
pretty sweet.. super jealous.. whats that lil house in the corner of the beach?
An old abandoned open air casita
11:29 looks like Tamarindo
Great video btw! Looks like an amazing time
A few others said this. Might be
It would be so rad to see you collaborate with some other youtubers... let's see river certified or pig patrol lol
Haha I’m always down
Dumb question…what’s the purpose of wearing gaiters on the boat? Is it for mosquitoes, blocking the sun, or both?
Mine would definitely need to be cooked but I could eat it all day long 😋.
11:10 is that a Tamarine? whatever it's called lol
I loved this! Can’t wait for the next one! And thanks for the “Suavecito” song... I can’t get it out of my head now 😂.
Hahaha
Found a call more terrifying than a barn owl call
I'm 13 and this is the reason I want to grow up.
Come on down when you’re ready!
Love watching your field trips being from UK 🇬🇧 what would be an average price for a trip with you ?
Keep it up Tight Lines 🐟 🐠 🎣 🐡
Is there any salmon in the rivers?
No sir
Where is this place sir ?
www.losbuzos.com
You dudes never seen a bean before? Lol. Sorry if its mentioned in comments but I'm to lazy to read.
It’s not a bean
@@YakFishField Really? Look up a cow bean... that one just looked like its shell was orange. Good thing I wasn't there, I'd collect some and try make some chili... lol.
On another note, I have a spearfishing channel (8-inch-shaka) and was curious if spearos ever get wet in that area or if there are reasons to not dive there. That looks like it would be an amazing trip.
Last, the only reason I was hooked on this edit was because you clarified some questions about the howlers I was having right away... you seem like an honest dude and a responsible guide. I'll keep you in mind if I ever leave Hawaii, but also will gladly take you out if you're ever on Oahu... my boat will make it to all other islands here. 🤙🏽
What is the email link to book a guide
Info@losbuzos.com
@@YakFishField thanks
Where are you from
Texas
If u skip more than 20seconds you miss a hookup. No skipping
Haha
It's a cocoa bean
Why don't you ever clean and cook the Rooster Fish ?
Sad to see fish go straight to the bottom
That’s where they live bud
"It was swimming an hour ago. Duh
?
The White stuff might be cyanide
This what men love adventure. No women needed.
True
alone on a kayak wearing a mask...
It’s called a buff and it’s for sun protection, not covid. Skin cancer sucks I hear
too much repetitive narration. too many "awesome dog", "fist pumps" and just a bit irritating. my honest thoughts. cool trip though.
... I would have ate that blue crawfish.
We should’ve
What was everyone's favorite part of this episode? Who wants to go on a camping trip like this one?!
How affordable is a trip like this?
Man all of it! But to be honest that lil blue crawdad was cool, i belive thats a rare mutation, specail to see!
Jigging in the panga was awesome, I could do that till my arms fall off haha. Really the whole atmosphere of that trip.....dreams!
This is amazing everything is my favorite the whole concept of camping like this is amazing
Love the fresh fish cooking and man those roosters were huge!
Nothing makes me happier than seeing that notification that there is a new Field Trips video. Never stop doing what you do!
Thanks so much Tyler 🙏🏼
I kept waiting to see TIE Fighters flying over..
Great series guys , love it .
Thanks man! Part 3 soon!
Thought the same thing, is this a Field Trips epi or a trailer for the newest Star Wars?
That fruit you found open with the black bean, I think it's tamarindo. It's sweet when the shell cracks open and it's sticky inside. Awesome series!
Interesting! Thanks!
Sampaloc sa tagalog....tamarindo sa bisaya....
Would love to see some snook fishing if you got the time down there. There are some monsters lurking in those parts. They make Florida snook look small and weak
Yep, we’ve caught some big Pacific Black Snook. Adam has caught several. Very seasonal
@@YakFishField cool. We get them all year long in Costa Rica. What time of year do you get em down ther
manzanilla de la muerte those are the green fruit your playing fetch with lol don't eat those
Good to know! Lol
Amigooo ya casi se insartaba el jig felicitaciones por buen vídeo
Gracias 🙏🏼
y’all definitely aren’t going to go hungry!
That full moon lighting was sick!!
My lens isn’t even great at night, didn’t do it justice. Beautiful evening
Anyone else terrified the whole time someone was going to get impaled?! 😳
Epic trip dude!!! Cant wait to see the part 3! I wish I could go on one of these!!!
Thanks! And you can! Email info@losbuzos.com for details
Awesome bro..👍👍👍
Thanks man
Love it, bro. Great episode. What headlamp are you using and is it bright enough to film night fishing? Cheers!
I was using a cheap piece of junk. Nothing special. Wasn’t mine it was probably $8 at a jungle corner store in Nowhere, Panamá lol
11:30 that looks like tamarind
that opossum squirrel lemur was watching the chefs cook up that amazing jungle feast !! 🤤👌😭
Tryna sneak a bite!
Awesome video
Bullshit! Those aren't howler monkeys. Ya'll are being stalked by velociraptors!
Hahaha maybe so
that fruit u found looks like Madras Thorn its good to eat
Interesting
Great trip but the howler monkeys. I've heard that you just can't get them to shut up. Sleeping is out of the question.
They were quiet at night luckily
Fishing, cooking and eat eat eat eatttting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That’s what we do
Careful, heard those opossum squirrel lemurs can be DEADLY! LOL
He looked pretty ferocious!
