Yamato is the tech tree ship, Musashi is already the premium Tier 9, so the only way was up, with the Project A-150 'Yashima'. But the Germans could also get a Tier 10 premium BB with 510mms, the last H-Class Concept.
Yes it will have to deal with a combined 420mm + 350mm worth of armour to citadel a kreml through the nose. But when you shatter the penetration records being the first to hit the 1000mm thresh hold (its about 1050mm for point blank). I honestly doubt Kreml can bow tank it close ranges, not without it angled at around 30-45 degrees.
Dont worry, the greedy frikers from wargaming will introduce those ships just to grab more money. Why would they make new game modes and make CVs fun to play against when you can make...well more money. Yes I realize its a free game and they need revenue but there are so many other ways to make people spend their cash willingly. This frikery made me stop investing money in WoWs just to be sure I will not regret wasting money when they start dissapointing everyone hard like they did with WoT.

In my opinion, who wins is largely based off of the situation. Example: in a night time engagement the Montana would hands down win. Due to the Montana’s better radar and firing control. However if Montana chased Yashima, Yashima would have a good handful of time to fire shells before the Montana could close enough distance to return fire.
As the game ages the amount of ships to use decreases not to mention the amount of tier 10 ships is very limited unless missiles are brought in since will all the last real battleships and cruisers are in the game.
If WG insists on building ships and guns that never existed then how about at least giving us a gun that did exist. Give us a Tier 10 German BB with the Schwerer Gustav 800mm guns. It would have to be single gun turrets, but I pity the fool that ever got hit by it.

I get where youre coming from, but...Two problems though. 1) flambass makes his living off of this game, and audience interaction (and his finances) will be impacted by putting a delay in. And, 2) if you see the response to his clan battle videos, the youtube audience flips shit too when he takes measures to reduce sniping, such as covering minimap.

Have you tested the actual overmatch values of the AP shells? The reason I'm asking is that a datamine on the AP calculator and Daily Bounce lists the shell arming threshold as 170 mm (!). That is actually more consistent with a 1020mm shell, not to mention that the 19400 damage value is also much more consistent with a shell double the weight of the listed (1984kg) value (although not 8 times more). I do notice some bounces on Monty and Yama, but they happen even on Conq; so that could be belt and turrets. So... what can it overmatch in a training room? Otoh; the ballistics and pen seems more consistent with "natural" values.
@Flambass to reduce stream sniping, does Twitch allow you to set a delay in transmission? So someone watching would be a minute or 2 behind 'real-time' ? That would prevent anyone trying to streamsnipe having any useful info...
It does, and that was one of the things that the guy who sent that message in the beginning was saying - that since Flambass wasn't using a delay it was Flambass' fault he was getting stream sniped. The problem with delays is that they make chat interactions basically impossible, and chat interaction is a massive part at streaming. This suggestion is essentially "do your job poorly to try to win more games", which is not really a tenable solution.

It's not really a scenario of being coded wrong, it's just a natural consequence of introducing a delay. If the stream is two minutes ahead of the time of those watching it, any comments the chat makes is naturally about what happened two minutes ago. The streamer can see that immediately and respond - a response that the chat will see in two minutes. That makes any sort of real conversation essentially impossible. There's really no way to code around this, it's just the inherent result of introducing a delay.
They need to raise the range on the secondaries again, with the classic sloe turn rate but now also slow reload speed it will rely on secondaries to raise dps when brawling or keeping other ships away. Think Georgia. Take same ship, lower guns by 3, increase effectiveness and range of secondaries. Personally I think it needs same reload as Yamato. Georgia reloads even faster than the 16" guns despite being just shy of 18" guns. The turrets are just as slow as the 18" ones, meaning mass and the amount of work going on inside should be similar despite having 1 less gun... it should balance out. Or at least only be a slight increase, like 32-33 seconds base. 35 is VERY high for such a large, slow turning set of turrets with so few guns. Yes I get that the diameter is unparalleled, but it's not a net gain, due to reduced dps, increased overpen, and not having other compensations you'd expect, like increased fire chance for that reload speed or gun number. Most reviewers are saying the ship has fun moments, but is otherwise rather lackluster. Georgia was a success partly due to having a faster play style and various boosted quality of life features... this has no such boosting but is merged in all other changed regards except AA. Not that best idea on a ship that's already very hard to get.

And i don`t get it, i liked this game so much for the rush it could give you when sailing up and defend your spot so you can attack when the time is there to push. Nowadays teams just hang back and are out of position whole game, full health ships in a losing match complaining there is no spotting after they didn`t cover the DD that tried to cap. Or worse, the DD`s going parallel on spawn line to reach the outer map borders to "flank" for B is scary. Nobody wants to die for the team anymore, it`s my experience that when sailing in a support ship it`s a losing game, only assault ships like Des Moines, Minotaur, and the stealth DD`s give me a decent chance to win with good XP. It feels that the games that were so common a few years back have become very rare, time to change tactics again, but i don`t like where this is going. I like suicidal gameplay without the suicide, getting that rush of blood to the head. Well, i always can go back to the good old drugs, at least they never let you down . . . .

Isn't this ship called Shikishima instead now in game? Was Yashima a place holder name or something only used while the ship was still a work in progress, and then after official release into the premium shop or whatever it was renamed Shikishima? Never heard of any Yashima before...
I still don't see why someone would choose this over a Yamato. The extra calibre doesn't give you any real overmatching advantage, and the higher shell alpha is offset by 3 less guns and less accuracy. Don't get me wrong, I am glad about it, but the whole ship just seems gimmicky and doesn't offer any real advantages.
Honestly, i will prefer yamato over Yashima any day, 3 extra guns = a lot more potential damage in a salvo, a little less accurate but if you aim well you always have the chance of hitting well. Yashima doesnt really have any better perks than its better penetration and better AA over Yamato, but yamato has 3 extra guns which can make all the difference.
You should have flung some more HE around... with a +45% fire chance, and HE alpha damage almost as high as Yamato's 460mm AP alpha, it seems like both shells will be just as viable in the Yashima.
Looks like a sad version of the Yamato... the dispersion leaves much to be desired imo. Sure you can Bow tank with Kremlin now but it seems Yamato is better overall for the team, seems like the damage output is the same, of course Yamato is slinging more lead so idk. Isn't this ship called Shikishima instead now in game? Was Yashima a place holder name or something only used while the ship was still a work in progress, and then after official release into the premium shop or whatever it was renamed Shikishima? Never heard of any Yashima before...

I still don't see why someone would choose this over a Yamato. The extra calibre doesn't give you any real overmatching advantage, and the higher shell alpha is offset by 3 less guns and less accuracy. Don't get me wrong, I am glad about it, but the whole ship just seems gimmicky and doesn't offer any real advantages.

How can you get yashima
Honestly, i will prefer yamato over Yashima any day, 3 extra guns = a lot more potential damage in a salvo, a little less accurate but if you aim well you always have the chance of hitting well. Yashima doesnt really have any better perks than its better penetration and better AA over Yamato, but yamato has 3 extra guns which can make all the difference.
You should have flung some more HE around... with a +45% fire chance, and HE alpha damage almost as high as Yamato's 460mm AP alpha, it seems like both shells will be just as viable in the Yashima.

Looks like a sad version of the Yamato... the dispersion leaves much to be desired imo. Sure you can Bow tank with Kremlin now but it seems Yamato is better overall for the team, seems like the damage output is the same, of course Yamato is slinging more lead so idk. (between these two anyway)
