- This was SICK! Epic, amazing, chilling and thrilling, powerful and chillingly good! Their song usually have an epic vibe to them but this one here has an edge for sure! I wasn't sure when the song started but the song definitely gets better as it goes and even better the more you listen to it! It's really that kind of song that makes you feel like the main character of a story, badass and ready to kick some ass snnsns But it's not just badass in the action because it also has that edge of disturbing/chilling aspect to it that keeps you on your toes and leaves you breathless. There was suspense in the song, the tension is really really amazing here I think! Honestly love this darker and more sinister side of them, they really are selling it well on top of it with their acting here. Bottom line: loved everything here!

They really shined altogether in this song and this MV. Ningning always go hard, Karina slays whenever she appears on the screen, Winter served vocals and center time, but this time Giselle gave it her all and damn, she was shining with the others!

I feel that my initial theory was right. They're in Hallucination Quest like in Savage but now in Real World setting, they fight against the deep fakes pretending to be them that create the drama and causing trust issues and confusing the girls who's who, Winter is the mirror of Karina but an evil version. all like Ning ning is the evil version of Giselle. in the katana fight scene Karina faces Winter and Ningning so it seems that the group is divided into 2 Winter and Ningning vs Karina and Giselle, remember the instructions given at the start of the mv by doing the opposite is the only way to escape, you'll notice that that's what they did to wake up from the hallucination thus, breaking the mirror that they once was trapped in. I also like the symbolism of the vinyl record in the beginning then within the mv where they also mentioned breaking the cycle of trauma plus the fact that it is an analog type of sound storage in contrast to their concept within digital realm. I do believe that every mv, track videos, and short films they all tied together. This is why I love aespa so much coz they tickle my ears and brain just like red velvet although I'd say I understand aespa's lore more than rv. I LOVE. ❤👏👏👏

Watching Ningning perform Wake Up was like a spiritual awakening. I watched her perform it during her Seoul concert so I heard it for the first time when she performed it for fans the first time ever. Seeing her sing and dance it in person without ever hearing the song before that literally had my jaw on the floor. I had no idea she was about to slay that hard for her solo stage. Karina is by far my bias of Kpop but Ningning definitely is a true performer

Ate is an understatement, devoured doesn't cut it, they obliterated with this comeback. Since the announcement of the mini they really brought the drama. The concept photos, the fashion, the schedule poster, the teasers, everything. The MV is gorgeous they nailed the sleek action-thriller aesthetic. The song itself is phenomenal it's aespacore perfected.

This is why they can't perform Drama live on music shows. Karina can't slay the rap as hard as Giselle, and F#5 is waaaaaay too high for Winter. SM keeps making her sing that damn F#5 (which she can't do anymore) instead of giving it to Ningning who can do G5 live.

For me drama is also ningning's era.. apparently she is not Korean and the whole promotion won't be make her the center.
