I have been on the hunt for a tin punched lamp shade, I know you had said what you has ordered was $15.00, With the Hobby Lobby runs, and thrift store finds to try to replicate your crafts, you are my inspiration, (i'm recently retired and love crafting) I happened to go by Goodwill, today after Hobby Lobby, i pulled in and found one! $6.00 i just noticed yours has a piece in the shade that fits on the bulb, mine i believe was made to go on a candle jar, it will sit on the top of a jar, which like you i'm keeping limited to a small box, I think if i make my candle smaller (out of the tube and put the light in that goes to the villages) and put that on the lid I'm hoping it will work, i love you and wish you were my neighbor, i'm close to Boston MA

The book will be a quick project that I'm looking forward to make. Was thinking of doing a stack of books and grunge electric candle hot glue to stack of books decorate base of candle and put shade on top would be fun. Thanks!

A little trick for you when you’re smoothing your label out, take a piece of saran wrap or wax paper, and lay it over the top of the label, and then smooth it, that way you don’t tear it or transfer any unwanted paint or cinnamon that may come off your fingers. Trust me, I know.

It just so happens I saved several candle lamps that are still in the boxes from back in the 1990's. Exact same candle they sell now and only available in those days during the holidays.

I have a recipe card in my Grandmother’s writing. Thinking I could copy it onto translucent scrap paper to wrap around the jar. Then find a label I like that will go with the recipe. Have you ever tried to grunge translucent paper? Probably do a much smaller label so the recipe card shows?
