I'm on my second Acorn Jr, the first one rusted out. I traveled 4 years full time in my RV. I used it a lot. Steaks, chicken, prime rib, pastrami , pork butt and even cobbler in a small Dutch oven. Now we're back at our house and don't really use my Big Green Egg very often. I noticed the little plastic handle is missing on your top vent, me too on both of mine. It's really crappy and they don't sell a replacement. I also modified mine to accept the fan from my Digi Q Cloud.
Please continue to make more videos using that Akron Jr. I got mine and finally used it today to make a spatchcock chicken and now I know what I’m going to use it for next! Thank you!
I think taken the time to start the grill, I don't know that I will used a frozen pizza, you can get the fresh dough from s supermarket and believe me you can put fresh ingredients and it will be much better.

I do it on my akorn jnr but I’m bump the temp up to 6-700 and cook in 3 minutes ... I put fire bricks on top of the grill followed by 3 metal and then my stone on top
@@cookforyourwife6235 if you make a pizza from scratch with raw dough you'll have better results if you bump the temp above 500*f and cook it on the stone with a little cornmeal on it before putting the pizza on.

Thank you so much for watching. I plan on making a lot of different things with the Akorn
Saw on another channel that you can put the stone on top of the grate and cook homemade pizzas right on the stone.
