I think the whole beauty of Chris Martin and Coldplay is the vulnerability and the imperfection. There's so much real human emotion and it's just all so authentic. I love it.

This song is definitely not an easy song to sing well with perfection. It's chords, rhythm, and especially the notes are pretty adept to articulate correctly.
Well most men cant sing this "high". Even this guy, whos had vocal coaches and alot of practice, have problems singing this :)
Joel B chris has said many times that he was never taught to sing. He learned piano on his own, guitar on his own and to sing on his own. Go watch him on howard stern and youll see haha

Marvin Nathan No, it's by Chris Martin. Avicii only helped with the final two or three cords and he produced the song. Chris explained it in an interview.

i have now listened to like 4 interviews with Chris Martin and wow, my heart is more full after listening to him. he is insightful and funny and so wonderfully real. i have spent half an hour looking for this other interview that came up on UA-cam before a tutorial i watched last night because Chris Martin came up when i clicked on the tab and his description in that one interview is .... what miracles and love and the meaning of the universe are made of!!!!!!!! it NEEEEEEDS to be SHARED with the world!!!!!!!!! but i cannot find it anywhere. i love this guy and i never even really knew about Cold Play before today. i've heard of them, but i dont know if i've heard any of their songs before. now i am going to be a lifelong fan :)

It's very hard to come by these days such a man as Chris Martin. Not only is he a hugely talented artist but also he's deeply empathetic when you listen to him in any interview. You can actually feel what he's feeling and it can be so heartbreaking or so inspiring
