Had the same thing happen to me. Found out later it was a thin piece of wood on the ground that could slide across the ground easily. Tire runs over it, causes the traction control to freak the hell out and as you are rolling off that patch, the wheel locks up and launches you sideways. I replaced the Mustang with an identical model, ran over that piece again to test but at 5 mph. For only going 5 mph, it caused a hell of a bang for something so flat. Something in the Mustang doesn't like whatever that causes. I ran over it in the C6 GS and nothing happened. Weird stuff.
Just to clarify, just running over it doesn't do it, but running over it while it shoots/slips out behind you. Causes the wheel speed to increase super high super fast. About the time ABS/TCS locks up that wheel that the wood is gone and concrete is there. Flings you at that point.
I was here for the mustang content but I’m also an all around enthusiast . I wonder if you’re gonna go centrifugal with the corvette which is the top choice of boost for those cars. The corvette might also be less fuel efficient than the mustang as crazy as that sounds.
Wheres the damage? Bags are blown, but didnt look "totalled". Bought many totaled mustangs and fixed them, never bought one that nice (except water damage)

Everything underneath was trashed. Suspension, turbo kit, turbos etc… it will take a ton of money to make that thing work again.
