Interesting. I was going to say the same thing about a screen. U would get all kinds of flying things in the camper I hate bugs I agree with the sink idea. No need for it the is no room in that bathroom. Love the porch idea. Very nice. Good kitchen. All cute. Thanks guys
The only three changes would be a generator and a screen enclosure on the backdoor ..And that toilet is made for super small people ... Im assuming this comes in around 25k
I agree about the screen on the back. Plus I would have liked to see an awning back there also. Totally agree about the bathroom, all of it. Love the Azdel feature. Thanks M & A.
Love the review but I am not sure how my golf cart will be driven up into the hauler area. Is there any way you could show us how that is done? I just purchased a golf cart I want to travel with and y’all just happen to have one by you on the lots you work from!! Please please please 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 Thank you 😊💋
Dislikes: two thumbs down on that bathroom. They could have done a split bath next to the bedroom, (and used a nautilus shower curtain) put the kitchen next to the living area. I don’t want my kitchen back in a hole by the bedroom! Third, I dislike those cubbies with the nets. Impossible to keep that looking tidy. Likes: it’s a small toyhauler, and I LOVE THAT! And by spending a couple hundred bucks, you could have a screen to keep the bugs out. Great windows in the front bedroom, and the outside storage is good.
Yup. Andrea got it right with the first dislike: rear bugscreen. That shower curtain thing could've been one of those roller thingies, too. Otherwise, WHAT a thing! Glorious! Love the multifunction of the toyspace.
Like the overall design, allows you to store motorcycle, e-bike or other toys while going from one spot to another. Price seems high⏫⏫⏫ Dislikes 1) no on-board generator, small water tanks and only 1 LP tank, does not seem well prepped for being off grid at all 2) Bathroom needs to be redesigned, I would rather lose another foot or 2 in the main area to have a decent bathroom with 4Ps, nautilus shower door and a better sink / counter space. 3)is there a screen for the back or an awning with screen design to enclose the porch too . Love 1) back porch with rails 2) simple kitchen layout with storage available behind the tv 3) having the ladder mounted on the for roof access
It’s a shame. The dealers and manufacturers are jacking up the prices on all units simply because more people have discovered an alternative way to travel and vacation. Hopefully the craze dies down soon and the dealers end up with overstock. This way, pricing will start getting more fair.
I like the travel trailer. Even though it is small but I like the garage or toy hauler. Bathroom toilet area is small and shower too. Refrigerator is nice for the trailer. Hi Andrea and Matt stay safe thank you for the video. See you soon!
I could live in this with couple of changes: Regular sofa bed, a screen door for living area and porch, optional ability to screen in the porch area for bug-free nights, and different color is you have to use the two sofa/chairs as shown.
You are so good the adds have doubled on the video's and you are being showed so much i see it listed 3 showings on mine you tube channel TV. This is not my travel trailer
Likes: 1) That ladder is awesome. I like the extra handles on the roof, and it looks like it can collapse to be low profile when not in use. 2) Deck area and it's 3000lb capacity. 3) Bed size of 60"x80". Dislikes: 1) Bathroom. I'm someone who's okay with a wet bath in a Class B, yet I still think that bathroom is terrible. 2) No screen for the back door. I wondered why you didn't show it. Now I know. 😁 3) Lack of space up front. Again, #vanlife and all that, but I think they went too small for a toy hauler. Maybe this is just for someone who wants a place for a quick shower, nap, or snack when they're at the track? I'm just always thinking RV first, and the RV part of this layout doesn't work at all for me.
This had to be designed by a nine-year old kid. They put the AC unit on the end that is open to the world. Wow - how far-sighted. 1 foot of toy space could have been given to the bathroom, so everything could have worked. If a door was separating the space from the frig. to the bed, from the toy space. The outside could stay setup at night. If this unit sells for more than $12,000 it's a rip-off.
As this is a "toy hauler" it actually needs more garage space not less. Most side by sides are 10-11 feet long and most snowmobiles are 11-13 feet long.
Why would you have the ramp door open with the ac on? Regardless of where the ac unit is mounted? But when the door is closed, that’s your living room.. probably EXACTLY where you want the ac… And $12k? You can’t even buy an enclosed trailer that size for $12k.
@@jlinkhart The AC should be mid-ship. Hot nights or days are shared by all, even the guys that sleep in the bed (The paying customers). This unit was made as an open platform. (Party deck) Door open "No AC" - unless you were up all night doing something. Like beach party or setting or checking snare-traps. It would be nice to close the 'mid-ship' door (If there was one) with AC on full to sleep awhile. Let everyone else party on. On 'rainy days' this little AC would be useless on this type of unit. A good exhaust fan in its place would be a better choice. This post is a year + old. I'm willing to bet this trailer is well on it's way to the scrap heap. It may have a few more seasons but that's it. It may be valued more that $12,000 - but dollar for dollar, this thing isn't worth it.
I love the colors I like the pre-installed solar I dislike to sink in the bathroom The dead space between the couch and bathroom. You could have given more legroom for the toilet.
3 comments: This should have a handful of customer tailored upgrades. How about a fold down side that connects with the rear. And pet friendly? How about some type of portable (not potable potable) fence at least for small dogs.
Hey guys! This little toy hauler might be ok.....if it were very, very inexpensive. But, since it isn't - and there are lots of dislikes: the bathroom is awful - shower stinks - water does go everywhere with those curtains, the whole design and layout is bad. Why put that kitchen area beside the bed? Everything just looks cheap .....except the price! You guys are so positive - thanks for another great review - and for allowing viewers to put in their two cents worth! God bless!
Most if not all RV except intry level should b double pane tinted windows 3 season at a min but industry & sales say 4 is what customers want, yr after yr same trailer is best seller.
(1) like the ladder. Easy to use, sturdy and Matt didn't look like it jarred him to get off. (2) I love 2ways! If you are going off grid or suffer power outages that's the only way to go. (3) like that you can fold everything out of the way. (1) would need a screen on the back end. (2) the bathroom would have been better to be what I call "shit shower n shave." sorry language. All together with drain in the middle. No sink counter just pedistle grr sorry for spelling.(3) In something this small I would like to see propane oven instead of microwave. Mainly because if you are out mudding your unlikely to have an electric hook up.
I love toy haulers because they are so versatile. I am not impressed with this one however! My most favorite thing here is the patio but with no screen that kinda cancels that out. Just overall not impressed especially at that price point! Great review as usual!! 😃
It seems really expensive considering how bare the inside is. But I am looking for the smallest toy hauler I can find with a permanent bed so I can live in it. I spend six months with one daughter and six months with the other, and both have room to park an RV on their property. Living in a trailer like this will allow me to spend all the time I want in either location AND take my motorcycles with me.
As others have said, this is a cargo trailer, trying to be a camper, and it doesn't quite do it. Things I like: the simple look and feel, if I spill a drink, it's easy to clean up (or in some cases, if a toy leaks oil, or gas, it's easy to clean up, let's be honest, that happens all the time). Second, the kitchen area, with its convention oven, and third, the back porch. I've always loved the idea of a porch on a camper, especially if there was another awning that came out over it, and I could turn it in to a screen room. Not sure the industry is there just yet on that idea. Things I don't like, are: let's all agree to ditch the bathroom sink, there's no need for it, this camper is too small. It'd give more room for the toilet, or increase the toy hauling space. Just wash your hands in the kitchen, or have an outside shower/sink to do that. I really think the door should be moved to the front a bit, and then they should add a bed on a track, that can go up and down. I've seen that on some toy haulers, it's a great idea. Third, the price is a huge problem. I understand the frame is a heavy duty frame, and I appreciate that it has about 3,000 lbs of toy hauling space. Dry, it could probably be pulled by a strong V6, but as soon as you put toys in it, you've got to jump to a V8. I could see some folks who have kayaks, or canoes, who'd really enjoy this camper. It will need to come down in price, some how.
Matt & Andrea I would have never considered a travel trailer but I really Liked: the windows, I loved the open back with the gates, I like the overall size Disliked: no pull down screen on the back end, hate the shower curtain, do not like the toilet placement (rather have no sink for more space), wish they had a slide door on the bathroom **Thanks for opening my eyes in possibly considering a travel trailer. I just wish this one had a few improvements. They should consider families who don’t have lots of toys as well.
Not bad for a little toy hauler, but too much money. Wish it had a rear awning over the deck, porcelain toilet and an on board air compressor. Like the central vac and patio deck.
Totally agree with your likes and dislikes Matt and Andrea, a little less room in the toy section could have yielded a bigger bathroom. Not at all my cup of tea! See you next time!
Like: 1. The fenced-in deck! 2. The bed area with the windows and cubbies, especially the front windshield 3. Large fridge Dislike: 1. Cramped unusable bathroom 2. No bug screen 3. Price
Would have been better if Forest River had swapped the location of the fridge and the sink/stove. I'd rather have splashed water or extra food prep in the living/dining, not on my bed. Bad bathroom. Not for that price.
I think it's more of a cargo trailer with a bed. Not worth the price. Really not impressed. Love you and Andrea and the channel but not this trailer. Stay safe.
I can see how this might be popular with a young, outdoors-y sort of user, but that's really not me. I'm old and I like mt comfort. As such, I think it needs 1) a better bathroom, 2) screening for the back area (I'm too old to sit out in the back without some protection from bugs), and 3) needs a better kitchen. All told, it's not the sort of rig I'd be interested in getting.
I like the tiny size and the decently large garage area. I dislike the kitchen/bedroom shared area. There will be sink splashback and bacon grease smell all over the bed. Well, the bacon smell wouldn't be bad. LOL.
Okay so this is for the avid ATV or Motocross person. Comfort is not the focus here. That said I will not be doing likes, dislikes since this is absolutely nothing i would be interested in. Great video.
I have absolutely no need for a Toy Hauler, but I know there are those that love them and need them. Having a basic model like this....and being entry level....is a great idea. Unfortunately, the price is NOT entry level! I'm not a construction expert, but I believe this unit is way over priced. It is extremely basic and has an "upgraded" price! I really LOVE the faded look of the mountain peaks on the exterior. I get tired of all the swoops and loops on the big RVs. This paint job is different and very nice.
I like the floor plan but I have 3 main likes 1 Ramp door turns into patio 2 No window on entry door 3 Trailer size 3 Main Dislikes 1 No solid stable steps 2 sink in bathroom 3 no screen for ramp/patio opening
You had to step down from the “patio” Area. I didn’t see a way that the cables went down lower. How are you supposed to drive your toys in? Very entry-level from other toy haulers that I’ve seen. The interior did not impress me at all.
I suspect that it's because the RV industry has exploded, and they're having trouble keeping new stock. Notice most of the campers Matt is reviewing, have "sold" stickers on them. I've seen other recent videos, making it clear, that the MSRP is now (these days) going to be closer to the price folks will have to pay. When there's high demand, prices are going to go up. At least we're finally seeing innovation in camper manufacturers.
I liked most of the review but I totally disagree with you that the bathroom sink could be eliminated and use the kitchen sink to wash after using the bathroom. Bad idea.
The 3 things I like about this travel trailer: 1. the windows around the bed 2. the living/dining room 3. the back deck The 3 things I don't like about this travel trailer: 1. no screen in the back 2. comboing the sink in the bathroom and the shower curtain 3. off-road tires
Honestly, they shoudl have put the sink and a fog free mirror in the shower, made the shower a little bigger and just slimmed down the vanity area to give it the 4p rating. The toy hauling area could have given up 1 ft and made the bathroom and galley bed area just a little bit more spacious. This might be too small for a big toy hauler. And for the price it probably ought to have had a drop bunk from the ceiling. I mean if its a man, his truck and his dirtbike it would work. It would be rough sell for a woman and a kid or two.
That roof and seals look like they are already 10 years old.
Thank you for doing a toy hauler. Can you do more of them?
Yes, please more toy haulers.
Big Truck Big RV has also done several if you haven't seen good channel already
Trying to find a 30 ft toyhauler with a slide thats halfton towable. Not sure what brand to get

Thanks for the video review. Could you tell me what the length is from the cargo door to the bed?
Must be really popular because this unit is already sold
This is very small and super light, great for half ton towing, but too small for more than two smallish people. Thanks

I dislike to sink in the bathroom
The dead space between the couch and bathroom. You could have given more legroom for the toilet.
I wish it has a power lift bed with manual backup.
Too expensive for a toy hauler with no Gen :( small fresh tank should be 50 gallon...i will pass...next
Only salesmen: "There's no window, kinda cool!" So now we use the lack of a feature as a selling point? "There's no slideouts." "Wowwww." lol
Well, I go offroad I'm not keen on the slide outs whatsoever. The fewer windows can be a benefit too, if it gives strength for the corrugations.
@@gilvietor1918 I highly doubt this salesman was thinking of any of these things.
How about switching places with the toilet and sink in the bathroom? I think you could get more room for a PPP. 😁

call me back when the bathroom and cabinets are redesigned, and maybe a pop-out bed is added? nice in general, just unlikely to make the cut.

1 Ramp door turns into patio
2 No window on entry door
3 Trailer size
3 Main Dislikes
1 No solid stable steps
2 sink in bathroom
3 no screen for ramp/patio opening
You had to step down from the “patio” Area. I didn’t see a way that the cables went down lower. How are you supposed to drive your toys in? Very entry-level from other toy haulers that I’ve seen. The interior did not impress me at all.
The door goes all the way down like a ramp
Can you tow this with a 1/2 ton?
so much more room with out a bed room. happy jack bed instead
Am I the only one that doesn’t like this new policy of “contact us for the price”?
I suspect that it's because the RV industry has exploded, and they're having trouble keeping new stock. Notice most of the campers Matt is reviewing, have "sold" stickers on them. I've seen other recent videos, making it clear, that the MSRP is now (these days) going to be closer to the price folks will have to pay. When there's high demand, prices are going to go up. At least we're finally seeing innovation in camper manufacturers.
Why did the roof look 100 years old? Stains
Smallest how?
There’s TONS of models, including from forest river, that are smaller.
I liked most of the review but I totally disagree with you that the bathroom sink could be eliminated and use the kitchen sink to wash after using the bathroom. Bad idea.
The 3 things I like about this travel trailer:
1. the windows around the bed
2. the living/dining room
3. the back deck
The 3 things I don't like about this travel trailer:
1. no screen in the back
2. comboing the sink in the bathroom and the shower curtain
3. off-road tires
A lot of extras not normally included. Wish they would pass a law requiring all porcelain toilets
I came in here for some quality sarcasm. Don't let me down people...........
