Someone on Rennlist mentioned they stuck a cork in that hole, lol. I would like to disable mine, thinking pulling fuse would be the least intrusive. Will have to look up which one it is.
@johngalt5411 lol I'm pretty sure you could but I would worry about the vibrations. Better to have it disconnected. I pulled the fuse on mine
Do you have a video about your subwoofers and install?
Everything is still factory. Have not upgraded the audio system yet
I’ll stick to my old 997.1 4S, it sounds glorious with the factory sports exhaust. May not be as quick and is very thirsty, but I love it. Sad that we now have all these regulations for new cars that they have to make a fake engine noise.
Can you not just code the module out?
That I'm not sure? I've never heard that discussed as an option
@@lsturbointeg well if it’s anything like BMWs ASD you should be able to code it out. Does it produce “fake” engine noise or use an external amplifier/microphone to pump engine noise into the cabin?
@robinbanks3288 that's pretty much what it does. Creates sounds that Porsche considers exhaust into the cabin. I disconnected that 1st week of ownership lol

@MIXMASTERRONEDEE alot of us have disconnected it so we do enjoy the real sounds vs what it was producing
