He couldn't say no to that cute noise. 😂 That kitten was the sweetest kitty we ever had. But sadly we lost her at 14 years old recently last month. We tried our absolute best to save her, but the doctor said there's not much else we can do since trying to prolong her death meant more suffering for her and more money down the drain. So we let her go and cross the rainbow... He tries not to talk about it and gets upset when we do, but I know it's because he really misses her like we do. 😟

Cats have oil glands in their foreheads & back, so when they rub against something they're using their scent/oils to "mark their territory". :) So the cat rubbing its head or back on you is them telling you that you're part of their clan/family. :D They're letting other cats & animals know this, too, as the others can smell it. This was my dad with our dog! Hated dogs, only ever allowed us to own cats growing up. My mom loved dogs. I got in a bad car crash and used it as guilt for him to get a small dog. He talked crap about her everyday. Got so mad when she had accidents or barked. Now if she has a accident it's all "oh no, you dont feel good? What's wrong" & purposely gets her barking pointing out rabbits on the lawn lol. I cant even have her a full day without getting texts like "hows my dog" "when are you bringing my dog back" lol

That's how it goes! Unless it's someone truly scared of the pet (which I HATE having people like that over. I usually have dogs, they need to socialize and it sucks putting a dog away because they cry and scratch constantly at the door. I'd rather the person just not come over). Otherwise, people act like they don't like a pet but often when the pet either shuns them back, they become offended, or the pet shows love and they realize they actually do like them.

That's how it goes! Unless it's someone truly scared of the pet (which I HATE having people like that over. I usually have dogs, they need to socialize and it sucks putting a dog away because they cry and scratch constantly at the door. I'd rather the person just not come over).
Otherwise, people act like they don't like a pet but often when the pet either shuns them back, they become offended, or the pet shows love and they realize they actually do like them.
