Just bought those at a pawn shop 70 bucks great condition and am amazed how good they are, super soothing to the eye and very clear, didn't know Oakley was worth it until now, never buying cheap sunglasses anymore.

I dont know but when i wear them my nose area just hurts after 10 min. I own gascan and they are fine but these hurt. Now probably will try for a bit more if not return.

Prizm Golf is one of the prizm sport lens, it is basically the successor of old G30 lens with prizm technology. Prizm Golf has VLT of 30% which is little bit ligh but it's contrast is undoubtedly very beautiful, you will see greens pop more with these lenses, but as I said earlier it will be little bit light on those bright sunny days, if you have no problem with it, go with prizm golf because it provides a beautiful contrast to everything specially on those little bit cloudy sunny days. If you want more dark prizm lens with the same contrast, I would say prizm dark golf would be better for you, but still prizm golf is just perfect in contrast with 30% VLT.
Ruby Iridium is an old school oakley released after the fire Iridium lens. Ruby has more red and purple in the centre compared to yellow- orange of fire. It is a grey base lens while fire is a bronze base lens. If you look through ruby lens, it would look blueish not because it is a blue lens but Iridium coating of ruby gives a blue effect from the inside, similar to positive red Iridium.
Sapphire is a blue lens, it is grey base lens. It is different than old school ice and blue Iridium lens which are both grey base lenses. It is offered by oakley from 2015. It is a very versatile lens with 20% VLT, it just works fine in almost every condition. Prizm Sapphire is a prizm everyday lens with 12% VLT.
Chrome Iridium is also grey base lens with a heavy mirror coating. It is similar to black Iridium but more mirrored than black. 12% VLT, it is a great lens for bright sunny condition.

@@heinrichbolleurs7311 Prizm Sapphire is rose based color, when you look through them, it will look pretty rosey colour, tbh personally I like standard sapphire more than prizm sapphire, prizm sapphire feels too much and unnatural, maybe it's just me. Prizm ruby and prizm jade are much better compared to prizm sapphire. If you want to use for golf, if you go for prizm everyday lens, then I would highly recommend prizm ruby over sapphire for golf. If you want to go for prizm sport lens, then prizm golf would probably the best, but if it feels too light to you, then prizm field might be better option for you, it's at 15% VLT. I think prizm field and prizm golf are the most versatile prizm lenses out there, both of those can be used for almost anything.

I found a set of these in the surf last summer. They were covered in barnacles and the lens are scratched to death. Cleaned the barnacles off and brought them home. Thought that much salt water would kill the hinges but they move like brand new glasses! I just need new lenses. I wonder if Oakley will warranty them?
Of course Oakley would not covered them......

Oakley best sunglasses
Oakley Sports shades. Expensive for what is a pair of plastic shades. If you can get past that you'll pay the price. You can get more premium feeling shades for less that actually use metal hinges and glass lenses. (e.g. Ray Ban New Wayferer's). Yes..the Oakley lens tech WORKS (I have a pair of Custom Holbrooks...happy with them...admit when I 1st got them--1st pair of Oakley's..I was offput by the fact that I paid what I did for "plastic sunglasses". Would I buy another pair of Oakley's? I suppose I would. Maybe a pair of Holbrook Mix (metal temples). These Flak 2.0's? Maybe for a sportier look than my lifestyle Holbrooks. Would like to try a pair of Ray Ban New Wayferer's 58mm first...non-polarized then if I like them..polarized...also in 58mm...THEN...possibly try either a pair of Flak 2.0 or Radar EV's.
