My hair is mid-hip length, but I can't bun it to the back of my head like Lynette does. Gives me a neck-headache. I have to distribute the weight all over my head.
Her hair is up and a head covering on because her hair is her crown and glory and is not for all to see.
I was shocked too. I would love to see it in a beautiful French braid.
Amish/Conservative Mennonite do not cut their hair.

I like when you share your thrifting days! I have sure done my share of thrifting, but now have to watch it. I need to get rid of a lot before I can go thrifting again! hahaha I'm glad you had a nice family trip. Family relationships are so important. Of course it was so nice to see sweet Oaklynn's smile. She has the sweetest smile. I wasn't able to go to our Mennonite school because we lived too far away, but my triplet sisters are 7 years younger than me and our family moved 1/2 mile fron the church/school, so wouldn't you know it, they got to go to our Menn. school. :) I enjoy your vlogs and appreciate the time and effort you must put in to post them.

My daughter went back to school today after being 5 months home during lockdown. I am from South Africa and we have experienced alot of challanges the past 5 months. At least she had online classes and even a few assessments also. I thank God for what her school did for her.

I know what you mean about the rain! Here in Kentucky it will sometimes get cloudy and thunder all around and never see a drop! It is also very hot and humid here. I did see a bit of a rainbow in one of your shots very pretty 😊 Your glasses look very nice on you I liked all of your frames. Oaklynn will be trying to come out of her crib pretty soon since she's standing! Lol they grow so fast! My son was 7 or 8 mo. old and he stood and somehow flip right over scared me to death! Lynn, you should get the blue light glasses in a prescription. They look terrific on you and they happen to go perfectly with your dress. But even more, the light pink shade compliments your complexion and the shape of the frame pulls the appearance of the eyes up, better than the ones you are wearing which pull them down a bit altho those are nice. Also like how the sunglasses look! Perfect choice. Glad you get a break from time to time, especially with the heat and the kids home 24/7. Love how the plants look on the hangers and love that macrame holder of your mother's! Love how the whole screened in porch/lanai looks! The area you travelled to looks so beautiful! It was definitely chilly at night and in the morning. Depending on the elevation too. Could drop to the 40s. And then go up to the 80s.
Right before you mentioned the oppressive FL heat and humidity I was thinking of how unbearable the FL heat and humidity is.. Beautiful tropical wonderland but no way can I handle that!
