Best thing I ever did was join the Legion of Mary. As a single woman, it gave my life purpose. As a wife and mother, the legion helped me have structure in my family life. Blessed that I grew up with both my parents in the Legion. Great example
Lough derg is like Marine training for Christian soldiers. Fasting no sleeping bear feet no matter what the weather. No place to get warm at night constant praying. Sorts you out for sure.
I was blessed to be called by Christ for the first walking the cross... I will be there Saturday God willing. Life with Christ has been a whirlwind. I hold deep she when I offend Him but the Holy Sacraments and penance are a true Gift we should be thankful for daily. If you cannot find anything to be thankful for start there! Bless you all.

Hi Marc. Please don't confuse illumination of conscience with the Second Coming of Christ. The illumination of conscience is merely a prelude to the Anti Christ and Armageddon and the two don't have to happen immediately one after the other. The illumination of conscience will be a major jolt to the world; not the finale. Still a way to go.
