Patrick, at 19:40 you were hassling Liv for not knowing county fairs yes you said 4A contests. I think you meant 4H 😊 As for pie flavors. I like so many, it’s a problem 😎
A more EV related comment: I liked the way you showed the miles/kWh data on the way up to Julian and for the way back to the ocean. That is something I'm trying to get a feel for as we have not driven "Big Red" (our ID.4) over any mountain passes yet. We're planning a long road trip over the Rockies in May, so we'll do some practice runs over the mountains here in Washington State. I do notice this effect quite a bit just around town. We live essentially at sea level (30 feet), so every local trip is uphill from home. Early in the drives the mileage is always terrible (1.x miles/kWh, then 2.x), but by the time we come back downhill to home we're normally back to a more reasonable 2.9-3.3 for the drive (winter time driving in a temperate climate). Dave
Enjoyed every segment of the trip. Sorry Liv is having to struggle at the moment. I hope this improves soon for both your sakes. Looking forward to more as you explore your new surroundings and we go along with you.
Love it! For all it's foibles and pitfalls, I love ChatGPT for certain things like this. This past weekend I asked it where I should take my dog and get lunch in Pacific Beach and it was pretty good! When Liv is feeling better you should definitely come down to the Zoo, that's near where I live and it's so nice to spend a half or full day. I have a membership, happy to show you around if you ever want! And the gorgeous Balboa Park is right there too, 2 for 1 if you make the trip down. Glad you got to check out Julian, it's very cute and great when it snows, like now! But go on a weekday, it's way to crowded on the weekend. IMHO California Mountain Bakery has the best apple pie in the area...definitely make a trip there next time. Also, as a local, the correct answer is "there's nothing interesting about Ramona" 😆
Oh my gosh love the tips and enthusiasm! I think I responded on FB too but anyways, yes please, definitely would love a Zoo day! I've heard it's one of the best around and I have never been! - Liv
Now that you’re in California what would be great is if you were to do some of the day trips that Huell Howser did when he filmed California Gold. He was able to spotlight so many interesting things in California it would be nice if someone was willing to refresh some of those places. Seeing the Mach-e revitalize some California history would be great.
Oh, that is a fun idea! We're currently watching Animal Kingdom which was filmed in our new city, Oceanside. It's been fun to see local places in the show. That made me think that it would be fun to visit some of the sites of that show plus do some other videos checking out some other famous California filming spots.
I very much enjoyed the ChatGPT Day Trip Adventure. It is the sort of road tripping that my wife and I would enjoy. We may see about trying that out sometime. As the video progressed, I was performing Google searches with the same wording as the ChatGPT requests. What I found was that most of the same information was available that way, but it tended to be spread across 3 or 4 different links. So based on these few observations it seems that ChatGPT is reading from several sources and summarizing the high points of them all in one place? Obviously, such a summarization could be useful, especially for on the phone in the car. I look forward to future road trips in this vein. P.S. A good peach pie can be very, very good. It has to be a good one, though. Personally, my favorite pie is cherry. Dave
Yes totally, it totally felt like a summary of the web pages that I'd normally surf through when trying to find information...which is really quite useful! You'll have to let us know if you and your wife give it a try! That would be so much fun to hear about! - Liv
Fantastic video! The east county is loaded with great places to see. The camels are part of a camel dairy located there. There are some really good wineries around Ramona and other parts of San Diego county. You probably did but if you didn’t go to Dudley’s Bakery while you were in Santa Isabel that’s a great place to stop also. Fun to see Ramona in the video. Great little town and you were only about a mile or so away from my house at one point. You might have had that Denver feeling had you tried to go to Julian this weekend with all the snow. BTW, Julian is always crowded on the weekends and even more so during apple festival time. Keep up the great videos. Loving my Mach E.
I love this! Thanks for all the tips! I am SO excited about the Camel Dairy! They have open farm days most Saturdays where you can go say hi to the camels! I think that might need to happen at some point 😃 So glad you're loving your Mach-E! - Liv
Great video! Love it and love seeing the country side as you tour around, that for the introduction to chat gbt I will have a look it next chance. Question you mentioned at Route 66 trip in May? Is this just you guys or a group? I would love to do that trip and have been dreaming about it for years.
It's a big ol' group drive! I think that this is where you register but I'm not totally sure. We can update the community tab when we get more info but I encourage you to look into it since it's been a dream of yours! Sounds like it will be an absolute ton of fun! - Liv eaa-1967.clubexpress.com/content.aspx?page_id=4002&club_id=222684&item_id=1901925
Hi Patrick, what’s your thoughts on using Apple Maps instead of the built in system? It looks like Apple Maps only updates the car mileage when it connects to CarPlay. Has this been an issue when doing road trips? Thanks for the ChatGPT excursion video!
Coffee Recommendations 2021 Stephen Cerruti Is it a bad idea to use chat GPT for recommendations on where to buy coffee since it was trained in 2021? As an AI language model, I can generate responses based on patterns learned from a large corpus of text, including information about coffee shops and recommendations for where to buy coffee. However, my responses will be limited by the information and patterns contained in the corpus of text I was trained on, which has a knowledge cutoff of 2021. If you are looking for recommendations on where to buy coffee in 2023, my responses may not be as up-to-date or accurate as they could be. While I can provide recommendations based on the data available to me, there may be newer or better coffee shops that have opened since my training data was collected. Additionally, the recommendations I provide may not reflect current trends or changes in the coffee industry since my training data was collected. Therefore, while I can provide recommendations based on the information available to me, it is important to keep in mind that my knowledge is limited to the data I was trained on, and that there may be more up-to-date and accurate sources of information available.
Should we do more ChatGPT adventures? What should we ask it if we do?
Yes, $2, $4, and $6 Proudly an Unbridled Patron of your channel! ❤❤❤
Thank you so much Bob!💙 Your support means the world! Both your incredibly generous support as a Patron and your support as a friend!💙 - Liv
The seals segment was fun. Good choice of accompanying music!
What a fun way to spend a day. That’s cool.

Julian Pie Co yes yes and so much yes!!!
My MILs lemon meringue was to die for. My favorite.
Ooh I hope you got the recipe! - Liv
What a fun idea. Anything with the crumb top is my preferred pie from Julian Pie Co.

I love Paranormal (Ghost Hunting) since I’m a Paranormal Sensitive. I was a Paranormal Investigator in Southern New Jersey. 😊

Fun trip. I’m not much on AI but I love a good road trip video. And I’ve never been to SoCal.
Never been to SoCal.....yet😃 - Liv
Recently saw a blue GT in a handicapped parking spot, had to check for out-of-state plates to see if it was you!
hahaha oh that would have been great! We were just talking about maybe putting a Mach-E Vlog sticker on the back window or something! - Liv

I am using the Bing AI chat and always looking for ideas to use it. This video is great inspiration.
Would love to hear what shenanigans you get up to with it! - Liv

It’s pronounced Pow- Way
Haha! Thanks! That sounds better than the way we were saying it!
ChatGPT, $5 a week.... Don't think so, I'm with Patrick to many other ways to get information for free, don't you think?
Ooh we just used it free. I didn't even realize there was a paid option! - Liv
