A powerful track from this man! That “almost died” verse hits so different when you take all that he’s gone through in his career. Especially the pieces that many tend not to know unless they were there. Goosebumps and powerful.
I know this is already going to be a great reaction! An Eminem song i think you should react to is "Difficult". It's an unreleased song which really shows Eminem's emotion after Proof's unfortunate death.

@@Oatmilllk me too! I don’t see how some don’t like it, but when he actually sings it gives me goosebumps because he puts everything into it and goodness it’s just beautiful. It’s rare to hear it, but when you do it takes me to a place where I personally feel more vulnerable. He just makes you really feel it. It’s really just an unexplainable feeling, but if you know, you know. I know that I made no sense here, but I tried my best to explain how it makes myself feel. ❤
as it goes for many other songs and people, this one is one of those that really got me going when I had terrible breakups back then and didn't know how to deal with all the sadness I felt. Song got me going and I pulled strenght from it. Em influenced so so many of us in good ways. And your reactions are awesome man. I subbed. Love your videos

Facts!
I haven't finished the video yet, but I just want to make sure the incoming viewers (and you if you didn't know) that this song is widely regarded to be from Kim's perspective. Her song back to him after all the the hell he put her through over the years. This is from one of his later albums, it's in the same vein as "headlights" the song that's an apology to his mom. This is from the same album.
Regardless (if he doesn't mention it in the reaction, I'm just trying to catch everyone early), if you listen to this song from Kim's perspective writing to Em it takes a new meaning.

I agree, my understanding is that this is from Kim’s perspective and Kim talking to Em and actually when you know and understand the dynamics (which we only do to a degree because Em and Kim (to an extent) you can see this comes from Kim. I again agree this is the same as headlights where Em try’s to explain to us all that he has made mistakes and is now trying to own those mistakes and make amends.

This, despite me adoring Eminem for now and forever, is my favourite song. There is just something about it that hits hard on a level that I couldn't ever understand and hopefully won't ever. This song has no significant memories attached, has no childhood reminders. It's just my favourite. It's so full of raw emoti9n and that I can understand. 🥺

I got out of a horribly abusive relationship a couple years ago. I had no one to tell me I deserved better. I had to reach the point of almost being murdered to realize I couldn't take it. By the way, great reaction. It is noticeable that from the first day for your son when you discovered Em you began to understand him little by little and each time he brings you closer to what we feel. I am 33 years old and I discovered it and I have been listening to it since its beginnings, I would have been 14 or 13 years old. And of course I have all his records. 🙈
What an incredible journey this has been. SO worth it.
If you like his relationship stuff. You could run through the story.. starting with “Kim” (very dark, shocking), Bonnie and Clyde ‘97 (also dark, directly carrying the story on from “Kim” - in a more lighthearted way). Finally, and you may want to skip straight here (although you’d miss important context), bad husband (a great song, closure, a safe reaction for you. Not dark, emotional, more like stronger than I was). Again, you’ve prob had these suggestions before… if you can’t stomach the first two, jump to “bad husband”.

That's the main white guy must know rule of Eminem, D12 and the game falling out of it all and then trying to diss him in "The black slim shady"...man if you ever listen you'll understand. Yea, Tektronix was one of my first "corporate" jobs that started off in a stock room and then went on to be a technician to fix their color printers for a good while until I left to go into the mortgage business. Tek was one of the best parts of my life. I had so much fun there!

I had a similar experience only mine was not a company hire as I was 13 still but I worked with a guy who taught me how to do it all including build my very first computer which I used to teach myself Adobe Photoshop thru tutorials and stuff. By the time college came I only needed to go to get the piece of paper which seemed silly. So I've worked freelance and for a few neat companies doing marketing/design etc. Now because I'm terminally ill I only do stuff to help other usually...not for $ only because I don't feel like I can charge someone when it's tough to meet exact deadlines etc as my health has progressed. But occasionally I run into a friend or youtuber or recently I was designing for our local sports teams thru DNVR. Havnt had a ton of jobs but that's ok. Lately I've just been working on teaching my 8yo nephew how to collect and protect sports cards and how to value them etc. He was losing all his money on apps and games so I thought I'd show him stuff I did that allowed me to sell the ones I didn't want or all of them when done. So that's taken up a lot of energy even lying in bed all day If that even makes sense.
But I get a kick watching your videos. I love how your not shy to analyze things you hear or feel in your own way. A lot of these reaction channels seem to be a lot of hype and yelling etc. So thanks for bringing your own take to it and allowing us to watch as you take this journey thru music you might know or not. Sounds like a theory. You present it like it was a fact, although there is really nothing definitive to proof this idea.
