This video was really good ALL of the discs featured in this video are bombers for people with normal/moderate arm speed! I think the wave could also be added in with this group of discs. That vanish has me curious would like to see it fly more with these discs. Great video!
Thank you for this comment! I agree on the wave from what I’ve heard. I want to do a massive wave video with all different types of plastics. I had a proton vanish a long time ago that flew like the flight numbers. This one I’ve only had a small amount of time with.
I love the Fission Insanity and the Fission Wave...having both of them in my bag keeps me from being at all curious about the Trail. I have a Neutron Vanish and the 11/5/-3/2 number seem wrong. It flies more overstable than my Neutron, Plasma and Fission Wave Discs. I would call the Vanish a 12/5/-2/3
The Trail looks like a great disc. I've seen a couple other review videos of it. I was curious how different it would fly for you, compared to say Anthony Bonanza who throws pretty far! Still looks amazing. I was cracking up at your hidden message mocking yourself @12:05-12:10 in the top right corner. BTW, you misspelled "wipe". 👀😉
Great video, thanks man. Will definitely get the Trail. You should really take to heart that you threw farther when you didn't power the throw so much. My rule of thumb is, don't throw hard, throw fast. Fast is smooth, and smooth is far. Correct technique and nose angle will beat power every time. I see it all the time on my local course.
The trail has at least temporarily replaced my insanity. And I really like my insanity, but the trail seems to go about the same distance but more controlled and less finicky or angle dependent. However I like the feeling of the insanity on forehands more. I like so many of MVP’s discs…. They make it so hard to do mold minimalization. Smh. Thanks for the reviews!

I can't wait to get the Trail and compare it to my VIP Tournament Burst Swords from Westside. I prefer how MVP looks and feels in the hand but my swords slowly flip up to flat and sail 400' straight and barely fade. If I put it up in the air on a slight annie, kiss it goodbye because it's going FARRR. You have decent form. I could see right away that I can trust your opinion on these. Right from the first throw, if I see someone has trash form I won't continue watching. By the way, the Insanity makes an amazing roller. I have a theory that when the amount of plastic above and below the part line is somewhat equal, the disc won't start tipping over to either side because it's balanced. My Insanity will roll forever until it simply stops and falls over. I wonder how the Trail forehand rolls...
Swords are a must try. Every time I see someone cough matty o cough throw one I want one. I like tournament plastic too. Roller in the bag now is actually a tournament plastic Westside king that’s flippy. Thanks for the comment, man! Happy you’re here!

Ngl, I got the new Neutron Trail mostly for the special edition stamp 😂 after throwing a couple rounds its my top distance driver for shots where I need distance but less turn than the Fission Time Lapse.
I kind of talked about it actually but it didn’t make it in the edit. Basically just some randos in there I don’t need because of overlap. I have the OTB Open 2024 Trance in there because it’s pretty. Then there is the prototype Drive from discraft. Those are the two I think I could take out and put the Trail in.

I just got my first Halloween glow insanity and it’s incredible for forehands. I agree with the trail being a bit more forgiving.

@david.hobbies I have a 160g fission fireball that’s also very overstable. Fun to see light discs hold up like they do.
Fission numbers are usually different. Insanity fission is -2,5/1,5 vs -2/1,5 regular
Wave fission -2,5/2 vs -2/2 regular

Happy to help! P3x is great. So is the envy. I don’t bag the envy anymore. Took it out and the zone and just have a soft proton tempo in there now.

No idea at the moment. In December 2023 a tech disc showed 63mph and 1,100 rpm.
