She is featured on wardruna's song helvegan 🤗 you might enjoy it if you havent covered it yet. Ty lol watching this made me pumped about this song all over again ❤🤗. All is soft inside is an interesting one as well 🙏.
I think water is really just a metaphor here. In my opinion, it stands more for the fact that we risk losing too much just because we don't value what we have. Two people in a relationship are actually happy with each other, but one of them is that not enough or is constantly questioning. Some people just act self-destructively when they think they don't deserve so much luck. All of them then risk their relationships even though they know they are doing so. One wants to go there, the other doesn't. Sometimes the relationship survives, sometimes even more intense afterwards or it dies. In my opinion, Aurora sings from the perspective of the one who appreciates what he / she has and asks the other why he wants to risk it all. Nice reaction from you and nice to see something from Aurora on your channel again.
Before Silja Sol, in these earlier live videos, her backup singer was Selma Stang. I like Silja better, I'll miss her. I'm pretty sure Aurora does all her own vocal layering in the studio.
😊👍I think Aurora always does all the female harmonies on the studio versions. Only having female backup by others live. The only one where I've heard other female voices on, is the Cure for me acoustic version. Dont think she's worked with any metal artists (yet 🤞) But she's done som tracks with The Chemical Brothers, Wardruna(live performances only) Askjell, and some others.
Oh hey! And yay! And the back up singer was Selma Stang... she was around in Aurora's earlier career for a bit. She does the back up vocals for the accapella version of Through the eyes of a Child. She was pretty good too. :)
Silja left to concentrate on her solo career. Her songs are mostly in Norwegian. She has a beautiful voice. Aurora has done some guest artist work with the Chemical Brothers "Eve of Destruction"
Silja Sol was with Aurora from they started in Jan/Feb 2014. But from Jan 2015 to Dec 2016 Selma Frida Stang took over, and she is the backup singer in this performance, anyone know why Silja left for 2 years? I don't remember reading or hearing the reason. Then Silja Sol came back Jan 2017 and stayed until 2020 or early 2021, and now she left to pursue her own career. I have not seen any new female backup singer in the few performances in 2021.
Well he is playing a bassguitar, it's not really a bass and not really a guitar. It's the Fender VI model, or it could be the Squier (also Fender) VI model. It has 6 six strings like a guitar but it tuned down an octave deeper as a guitar. It's really an unique instrument. It's important for the "older" AURORA Sound. On her newer songs it's mostly a guitar and I didn't see this Fender VI in the last live performances. I'm curious about the line-up when it comes to a bigger concert. 👀
Yea, it is great song and also love some rock'isg elements there. This Halloween version is one of her performances when her voice was a tired (or she was sick) but still so nice performance. Honda version is great:). Ps. i think on studio ones it is Aurora layered but does not have sure sources just my opinion :).
One of my top 5 Aurora tracks, and seriously underrated!
I think this track, "Under Stars" and "Home" are some of her best early work.

If you haven't done it allready. I think you would like Wardruna feat. AURORA. Helvegen.
Wow, I've only seen the Honda live version....which is awesome btw......I had no idea this version even existed.
Great song/Great Reaction!!!
Aurora is a rocker 👍 👏🇳🇴👏

On the studio album Im pretty sure its Aurora doing dual layer.

I think Auroras voice here is a little bit tired because of her US tour in that year..
How about checking out a young family band called Liliac doing their original song called Sail Away
