Man what I really appreciate about him is that he patiently waits for the car on the front to complete their overtake and doesn't pass the front car from right side. In my country people don't have any patience so traffic is just too much aggression :(

@@crazykoala2289 from what i've noticed driving in turkey is that everyone hogs the 2nd of the 3 lanes, especially busses. obviously everyone will pass form the right if all cars are hogging the left lane.
@@zuighemdanmaar752they are SO afraid of being stuck behind a lorry. The funny thing is that they are going at lorry speeds. Been driving in Turkey for 7-8 years now and though I love long roadtrips, it always end with rage. I started to take my trips duribg night as much as possible but I do miss the magnificient scenery with that option.
problem with downsizing is not the power. Problem is reliability and also economy under heavy load

Exactly, that's why nobody buys a Ford Focus anymore,it only comes with a stupid 1.0l engine that it's slower and needs more fuel than the Golf/Leon/Octavia 1.5tsi, Kia/Hyundai 1.5tgdi
they are no wizards. If you want power you have to burn fuel. And to keep temperatures under control with a small engine you need even more.

@@jonathansallaberry9413 les 2. Elle ralentit mais lance l'alerte pour inciter le conducteur à appuyer sur la pédale de frein.

No... Been on the autobahn a couple of weeks back but WTF! WHAT is wrong there? Only idiots who drive 110 max in left lane! Back in the days they drove right... But now they don't care.. Its the Netherlands in Germany.. Except here they drive 80
What is wrong with a red car on the left lane overtaking other cars? He was there way before the driver in this Video was even in his mirror. The driver in this Video should have seen the red car from a good distance and was required to reduced his speed. He is not alone on the Autobahn. And the first Rule of traffic in Germany is to be thoughtful to others. In this Viedo alone, the driver is ignoring the safety distance to other cars. He ignors the speedlimit. And he is driving reckless. If he would have shown his face in this Video, he would be walking the next months. Because his drivers licence would be suspended.
@@thorstensiekmann1128 There is no limit on this part of the autobahn. The problem with you and othes that have this mindset (the red car) is that you're sleeping in the left lane or even jumping on it without even checking the mirrors. He slept in the left lane, without even accelerating for a good amount of time while having plenty of room on the right lane.
If you are going to overtake someone, speed up, don't go 100 kmph to overtake 95 and slow everyone down.

Liegt daran weil der auch keine 150ps hat… VAG Motoren haben immer Mehr Leistung.. aufn Prüfstand haben die meist an die 170ps

I was hoping someone would say that lol. Yes GPS would be alot more accurate but wouldn't as low as 130. I'd say 138 to 140. I got done for speeding in Sept 20. My digital speedo said 84, my personal sat nav said 82 and the speeding ticket said 82. I was in my brand new Cr-v.

Is 1.5 TSI enough for this passat? I am thinking to buy a new auto and many people say that 1.5 TSI is too small, even for limousine. THIS passat is heavier so I am not sure...

man this is fucking fast for 1.5 litre 150 HP.. fuck.. pulls above 140 like nothing, and it must be fucking efficient, cruising 130-140, at around 2-2.2k RPM.

Yes. For North America, top speed is limited as per regulations. 1.8 TSI is technically more faster.

@@DreStyle I think it's the fuel. In Germany the fuel quality is much better then in the Netherlands, especially there is big difference when using octane 102.

Even the base model of the Tesla (Model 3) goes from 0-100 km/h in 5,6 sec and hits 226 km/h (limited). The dual motors version hits 260 easily. That’s so much faster, especially acceleration-wise.

@@varolussalsanclar1163 It’s only 40 kilometers between me and my dad and there’s a 20 kilometers unrestricted autobahn-part. I borrowed the car from him and tested it in between. You might be right but I drove it only 7 mins in full throttle mode, therefore I have no long term experience.

1.5l in such an enormous car?! 2l should be common practice. But still a very nice topspeed. I just don't think it's healthy to have such a small engine in that car.
It would be weird indeed, but this is a TSI, so it is a downsized engine with a turbo. Of course it is not probably the same thing that a 2l engine with a turbo that reached a similar power, but the presence of a turbo changes the comparison a lot. The Up (Skoda CitiGo) here in Brazil was offered with a 1 liter TSI engine, and that little matchbox was able to do 0-100km/h in less than 10 seconds.

Passats have had far slower engines for their size. A 1.6 engine without turbo producing 102 hp was avaliable on the passat as late as 2010!!
@@rafa1326 had a golf with that 1.0 tsi engine in Brazil, even that did the 0-100 time in less than 10 seconds, I even filmed it. You can watch the video on my channel.

I don't think that the driver is german. Why would you risk your life at over 130 km/h to keep your right hand on the armrest or gear switcher? You don't even have a manual car, so why would you not keep both hands on the steering wheel?

@@vladj It's actually a bit better. Cd is between .275 and .280 for both Golf 8 and Passat B8 depending on the exact body style, but the Golf has a smaller frontal area.
