I’m part of the 50% PSPro player base that bought a pspro just to play 7R in decent quality-- I was sooooo hoping that the pro console would receive the updated lighting that the pc is getting,,, but alasss I am double dipping and upgrading my PC like a slave to this game
@@FailroadExpress 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-12400F. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti. 16GB RAM. I think that's everything you're after? I'm pants when it comes to PC stuff haha
I can see the stutters on high settings, it could be down to the game exceeding the 8GB VRAM of the 3060 Ti. It'll be interesting to see how my rig handles it: Ryzen 7 9700X / RTX 4070 / 64GB DDR5 / 4TB NVME SSD
Seeing this game running like a charm on a 3060 whilst recording a video, actually convinces me, that it will run like a charm on my PC as well with my 4070. Surprised, that there is no pre-download for it on steam. Fingers crossed, that I can start downloading the game at midnight, which is in less than 2 hours from now, in europe)
Seeing it run relatively well on your 3060 ti gives me hope that it’ll run decently on my 3060 laptop gpu. Regardless of performance I’m just excited for the possibility to platinum this masterpiece a second time
Double dipping, for sure! It's the second game ever that I've bought twice - first being RollerCoaster Tycoon; I lost the install disc nearly 20 years ago. Biggest gripe I had with Rebirth's PS5 version was the asset/shadow popping, which I hear is a common Unreal Engine vram issue. I hope my 7900xtx rig will be enough to negate it (24gb should be enough, if PS5 has 16gb, right?)
i was wondering if it looks better than ps5 version, i haven't played it so, what do you think about the image quality on the pc version?. Great video!
With my rig I feel it's slightly better, youtube compression took it's toll on the video a little so believe me it looked even better than it does here!
Yes it's how I got the Platinum.. Haha. I kid! This was much easier to do while chatting at the same time, showing off my combat skills was not what was being showcased here
I don't have a 1440p monitor but I just tried it in windowed mode then changed it to 1440p 60fps and it runs pretty smooth on medium settings. Don't know if that helps at all!
I don’t know how someone can claim their pc can run a game on max settings but only for less than 10min before they have to drop it back down or their pc quits lol If you can’t run it at those settings for at least an hour, then your pc just can’t handle it. That’s how I look at it at least. Is that a wrong way to come at it?
I don't think I claimed that, I did say something along the lines oh it's running okay, but I bet my PC will give up after 30 minutes or so but it's nice to see it's running max settings and not crash straight away. Not word for word, but you can see I was just having a little fun and showcasing the game.
@ you’re right, over reaction on my part and also I may not have worded properly what I wanted to convey. I can see how you would think I was specifically targeting you when I meant to imply what I said in a more general sense about what I was describing. I have seen other more “hard core” pc guys make that kind of claim but only be able to run the games in question for a very limited time when in context of a gaming session. So apologies for not being more clear with my message.
@rottengalaxy I was hopeful for the ultrawide support too, but the 30% discount was just too good to pass on. Also played it on PS5 last year, but I didn't have the patience to do hard mode.
Looks like you have a few FPS drops or low FPS ish, was that running about 40 FPS sometimes, I feel like it's jumping from 40/45 then back to 60? and in your opinion did you feel it was better on the PS5 in comparison to your own PC? Overall the performance is not bad and running really good for a 3060 which gives me hope that my 3070 will be ok lol. However, I have told myself if it runs crap I am upgrading. Yup, mostly for this game alone as I love it so much haha. Though...I really don't want to spend that much money yet but man...I can't not enjoy this game in its best possible way ever. I need it maxed Gwahics! 😂 Also, still not jealous of you getting to play early again lol.
Yeah I think it might have been to do with me capturing the footage and recording vocals at the same time that caused the drops, the PC was like 'please no more!' haha. When it was just the game running I get a solid 60fps and even crank it up to 120fps on medium settings. As for comparing it to the PS5 version, I can be horrible at telling differences, but I would say the PC version looked much better and more solid.
@@GenesisVII Ohhh that's even better then. Yes I didn't think about that, recording could lower the FPS! I don't know much about that side of things but I seen the recent additions to Steam allowing you to record gameplay and it didn't seem to affect my performance, pretty impressive! Have u checked that feature out? Oh yeh it can be hard to tell visually sometimes, I just meant did you find it smoother on your PS5 or your PC? (when not recording?) I am very curious about that comparison lol. Bring on tomorrow when I can see how it runs for me!
@@keblin86 Oh no I haven't actually, maybe I should haha. I rarely game on the PC so I tackled the recording as I would any other video lol. Smoother on PC!
I went back and looked at the gameplay you captured at the beginning and compared it to the max settings section and I think the character models actually looked sharper in the first bit. Though I know compression can happen when recording and/or uploading to UA-cam.
Yes. It can’t run the game. I also got 1650 *But* Maybe modder will fixed this soon because it doesn’t require ray tracing for this game. Sooo maybe there will be a mod to fixed this soon.
You're more half boiled than coocked. The game will not run with a locked 30 fps at all times, but it will be "playable". Cities are gonna be problematic, like on the steam deck. A way to try and make the performance a little more bearable is to dial down the resolution and bump up your monitor's sharpness while sitting a decent distance away from the monitor. Also couldn't hurt to try Lossless Scaling's frame generation. Keep in mind that Lossless Scaling will also use part of your pc's horsepower, and maybe it will not run well, but why not give it a try?

Watch them update the pro version with the lighting when you've double dipped 😭
I'm also rocking the 3060 Ti! Nice to find a video of someone who isn't using a 4090 with this game. Makes things more comparable for me.
I'm using a mobile 3060 (6Gb VRAM) I hope I can run this 😅

Sticking with my playstaion version here, am glad more people get to play the game 😀
PC bro here and I can respect that! Was a former playstation bro back in the day. I hope they find a way to improve the lighting on PS5!
Do any of the minigames benefit from mouse controls?
I'm still waiting here in YT to see if anyone with a potato PC like me, dares to play this game. Currently using 3770 + gtx1660s 😂😂😂
Gtx1660 doesn't work...Needs DX12 ultimate.

Nope, another content creator said that there's no ultrawide support.
Prolly someone's gonna mod that in by tomorrow night.
