is no one gonna mention how in frozen 1, elsa’s dress and hair were like ice, but in frozen 2, she’s like snow because like in the first one, she was mad at a lot of ppl but she finds herself in the second.

This is what happens when Elsa has been looking for her past self who is 3 years younger. She is standing outside the ice castle waiting for her to open the door for her and once she does, they both harmoniously sing together. This is a true masterpiece. I just can't believe that their voices sync so perfectly even after the movie was made 6 years ago. Thank you for this wonderful masterpiece...☃❄.

Theory Time! I have been looking at some other comments and have agreed with most of them. If we’re going deep into the meaning of elsa’s outfit from frozen and frozen II, In the first movie else first has her hair in a tight bun. Then a braid. Showing she has let go. Her dress is also very icy showing the anger she’s been through.The icicles would be showing her anger. In Frozen 2 Elsa has her hair down. Showing she has completely let go. To all parents who say Disney princesses/Frozen is bad for kids: Take a look as to how connected these 2 songs and Into the Unkown are. Let it Go is about Elsa and the audience letting go of their pasts problems to form/grow personalities, Into the Unkown is about stepping out of your comfort zone and going out and embracing the new in the world which also shapes who you are, and Show Yourself is about embracing the yourself fully no matter what people think of you. To me that sounds like a pretty good message.
I feel like these two movies fit together so well, like these songs. They have two different morals, and a combined one. The first Frozen has an important message. That, you need to let things go. Calm down. And sort things out. She is so afraid of what she might do, she acts out. When she takes a moment to breath, to not care what people think about her, best shown in let it go. She is free for one. Eventually, it comes to, you don’t need to be afraid to show yourself to others, even a side you don’t like. Frozen 2? It’s different, but close. She needs to figure out who she is. She needs to tell herself to ‘show yourself’. She figures out who she is. What she wants, deep down. It shows that you need to find out who you are, and do what it seems best for you. Together, both movies also so one of the most amazing messages. Don’t block people out and take things on your own. Your not alone. People can help you. In the first movie, Elsa keeps her secret. She ends up alone for years, and she ends up lashing out. People fear her. She runs away. She try’s to keep people out. When is Elsa saved? When Anna helps her. Anna is the one who saves her. Elsa learns that people can help her. But, old habits die hard. In Frozen 2, she doesn’t talk about the voice. This seems to cause the entire situation. When she tells Anna, they can make a plan. When she pushes Anna in the boat and runs off on her own? She freezes to death. Then, she learns. She sends out a final call, a help. Anna ends up getting it, but seemingly too late. But, Anna helps her. And Elsa can escape. And save the city. All of these need to be taken together, that’s how they work best. You need to show people who you are, and what you stand for. You need to learn who you are. But, the biggest thing? Don’t go on this journey alone. Take a friend. (You ever start writing a small comment and end up writing an essay?)

Everyone is commenting about how her eye colors changed. But I think the director did that on purpose, as to represent change or transformation like her dress. Green somehow represents exploration and serenity with acceptance of one's powers while blue represents a calmer side of things indicating that elsa has actually become more relaxed since she finally accepts herself and become free of the fears she has been living her life; She finally discovered everything so now, she matures and transforms. Its my opinion I really dont know if it is a mistake or if the director intended this.
To add note to that, her hair is more restricted in frozen 1 which probably signifies her restrain and deprivation of her powers.The in frozen 2 her hair is free and it means she finally learned yo accept that she is a magical entity and a beautiful one too.

I have a tattoo on my wrist that says "let it go". that song literally saved my life. when I heard "show yourself" it hit me straight into the heart..I could feel Elsa change and, somehow, I felt my change. we both went from "let it go" to "show yourself, you are the one you've been waiting for". I identify myself into Elsa so much and our journeys are so similar, it made me incredibly emotional watching Frozen II. this mashup is the perfect mash of this journey.

I have been looking at some other comments and have agreed with most of them. If we’re going deep into the meaning of elsa’s outfit from frozen and frozen II, In the first movie else first has her hair in a tight bun. Then a braid. Showing she has let go. Her dress is also very icy showing the anger she’s been through.The icicles would be showing her anger. In Frozen 2 Elsa has her hair down. Showing she has completely let go. Her outfit is white like snow. That shows she is peaceful and true to herself.

To all parents who say Disney princesses/Frozen is bad for kids:
Take a look as to how connected these 2 songs and Into the Unkown are. Let it Go is about Elsa and the audience letting go of their pasts problems to form/grow personalities, Into the Unkown is about stepping out of your comfort zone and going out and embracing the new in the world which also shapes who you are, and Show Yourself is about embracing the yourself fully no matter what people think of you. To me that sounds like a pretty good message.

I feel like these two movies fit together so well, like these songs. They have two different morals, and a combined one.
The first Frozen has an important message. That, you need to let things go. Calm down. And sort things out. She is so afraid of what she might do, she acts out. When she takes a moment to breath, to not care what people think about her, best shown in let it go. She is free for one. Eventually, it comes to, you don’t need to be afraid to show yourself to others, even a side you don’t like.
Frozen 2? It’s different, but close. She needs to figure out who she is. She needs to tell herself to ‘show yourself’. She figures out who she is. What she wants, deep down. It shows that you need to find out who you are, and do what it seems best for you.
Together, both movies also so one of the most amazing messages. Don’t block people out and take things on your own. Your not alone. People can help you. In the first movie, Elsa keeps her secret. She ends up alone for years, and she ends up lashing out. People fear her. She runs away. She try’s to keep people out. When is Elsa saved? When Anna helps her. Anna is the one who saves her. Elsa learns that people can help her. But, old habits die hard.
In Frozen 2, she doesn’t talk about the voice. This seems to cause the entire situation. When she tells Anna, they can make a plan. When she pushes Anna in the boat and runs off on her own? She freezes to death. Then, she learns. She sends out a final call, a help. Anna ends up getting it, but seemingly too late. But, Anna helps her. And Elsa can escape. And save the city.
All of these need to be taken together, that’s how they work best. You need to show people who you are, and what you stand for. You need to learn who you are. But, the biggest thing? Don’t go on this journey alone. Take a friend.

Everyone is commenting about how her eye colors changed. But I think the director did that on purpose, as to represent change or transformation like her dress. Green somehow represents exploration and serenity with acceptance of one's powers while blue represents a calmer side of things indicating that elsa has actually become more relaxed since she finally accepts herself and become free of the fears she has been living her life; She finally discovered everything so now, she matures and transforms.
Its my opinion I really dont know if it is a mistake or if the director intended this.
To add note to that, her hair is more restricted in frozen 1 which probably signifies her restrain and deprivation of her powers.The in frozen 2 her hair is free and it means she finally learned yo accept that she is a magical entity and a beautiful one too.

I watched frozen when i was 16. And now when I'm 22, everything hit so differently. I re-watched the first one after 2 and there's so many underlying themes of loneliness and accepting your fears and love and the feeling of being cared for that the younger audience can't relate to. I'm a guy lol
I have a tattoo on my wrist that says "let it go". that song literally saved my life.
when I heard "show yourself" it hit me straight into the heart..I could feel Elsa change and, somehow, I felt my change. we both went from "let it go" to "show yourself, you are the one you've been waiting for".
I identify myself into Elsa so much and our journeys are so similar, it made me incredibly emotional watching Frozen II. this mashup is the perfect mash of this journey.
The same thing happened to me, “let it go” helped me break out of my shell at 12 ,and now at 19 “show yourself” helped me find my inner confidence in myself and it’s helped me really be confident in who I am. All of that is why Frozen one and 2 will always be my favorite movies.
