What happened with this wetland is we ended up with the weirs being dammed up and plugged and water really wasn't going through the wetlands. We've cleared the weirs out, water started flowing, and what we found is it became a true wetland again. We started seeing the animal life come back. We started seeing fish. We started seeing a real ecosystem come out of this that didn't exist before as far as the dry areas. So it's a really marked improvement, not to mention the improvement in water flow in protection against flooding.
