I work on two Z cars ,I own. I always remove the front wheels, then I can lower it down with the floor jack, to clear the motor and gear box at the same time, by myself. You can run plastic, door edge trim around the battery hold down so it won't short. Or spray it, with bed liner, or a few or more build coats of plasti-dip, to prevent a contact short.
Awesome! Im glad you enjoy it and i appreciate the kind words! That is the original factory paint, its in decent shape for its age but definitely has its dings and blemishes. Hasnt been repainted but does have touch up indications on left quarter panel.
I found a set through Jegs.com, had to wait a few weeks but they got them from silvolite for me. They story i got was that silvolite doesnt continuously produce them unless theres suppliers stacking up orders to merit them doing a full casting run.
I would recommend getting some rubber radiator mounts (or something to insulate it from the engine's vibrations), hard mounting can damage the radiator over time
Great video! I like your narrations, very informative and humorous. We put our tools away in a similar manor 😂
Car sounds great man
Im happy you like it! Im still finding my groove and ill be putting more content out soon. Lol tools gotta return to the tool pile.
When you put the behind the radiator fan, I was almost able to feel the warm breeze.
Like a muggy tropical paradise.
Yes I would be interested in seeing the custom video of course even though I have a L20b and thank you for the videos and much respect.
I uploaded the L24 rebuild videos with more to come! Thanks for the support and encouragement!

Thats a great idea for the battery hold down bracket! Thanks for the advice.
Informative video, nice car, excellent youtube channel !!
Is it the original color or a custom paint job ?

Awesome video. I love these cars. Im curious where you got the pistons for your bored cylinders. Thinking about rebuilding my l28 sometime soon.

Solid suggestion.
I used some longer bolts with grommets and washers so it's barely floating.
Great job!!!
Thank you very much for the kind words. Its encouraging.
Like the videos. Where did you get the wiring diagram from?
Thanks! Im planning to do more in the future. The laminated wiring diagrams are from classiccarwiring.com
Just curious what brand of CF hood is that? Looks amazing!
Its a Seibon hood :)
Thank you!
@@djukesol91 no problemo, they can still be made to order, just be prepared to wait a long time.
