I was at one conecerts of the 25 years house of pain tour....... you can LITERALLY see the same AT THE HOUSE OF PAIN concert. Like the complete concert the people are already happy and fun and everything, BUT IF THEY PLAYED JUMP AROUND IT WAS OVER!!!! PURE MADNESS!!!!!! DESTRUCTION!!!! BEER FLYING!!!!!! TOTAL CHAOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I came here because I never tire of watching young people find this song, and then find out they actually know it. But I like everything you said. Everything. Subbed!
The name of the rapper is Everlast. He later embarked on a solo music career, releasing the album "Whitey Ford Sings The Blues" which yielded the top ten hit "What It's Like". This is a song that you'd like Ashley! The whole album was story telling at it's best!
He also collab'd with Carlos Santana and had a hot single on Santana's "Supernatural" album. "Turn Your Lights Down" I think the title was. Killer track.
Some Bars in that !! He's talking the talk & really aggressive. But he's giving ya a warning first, don't mess around with him. I like the way the song tells a story. Gets ya hooked.
45 year old mom here. I was looking to see if anyone has reacted to this song and found you. This was the jam back in the 90's. Idk if you have heard Cypress Hill yet but it's a similar kind of music. Just makes you say "whhhaaaat??" Insane in the Brain is one of the best imo I appreciate you doing a video on Christmas. Shows your dedication. New subscriber ❤️❤️🎄🎄❄️❄️
Joe "the Biter" Necolo was the producer that was going to sign "House of Pain" but was Like "nah", then he signed "Criss Kross" and Stole the "Jump" aspect of "Everlast/ House of Pain" song.
I'm 45 years old and I'm at that stage in life where I keep the radio at an acceptable volume. There are a few songs where the volume goes way up and this is one of them. If my teenage son is in the truck I dance around like an idiot because his embarrassment amuses me!😂 Really loved your reaction. Hope you had a great Christmas!😊❤
Out of the 30 teams in the NBA and 82 games and 41 home games during the regular season, two songs are played the most in the arena this song and Kris Kross “jump, jump”, played for every tip off
Everlast was put on by Ice T. He was part of Ice T's click The Syndicate. The Producer and DJ of the group is DJ Muggs the DJ & producer of the group Cypress Hill.
if you hear this play in Southie (South Boston) you better have your head on swivel because someone is getting F'd up lol. we play this on St Patty's day. a Cali band, filmed in NY but Boston approved and adopted.
This style of rap is called braggin & boastin which is the or was the primary form of rhyming back then....the rapper's name is Everlast, he is from L.A. and started as an artist in ICE-T's group called Rhyme Sindicate this was about 4 years before House Of Pain came out. He left ice t group and formed House of Pain in the early 90s. He is know known as Whitey Ford a hip hop rock Latin music making artist.
Sega is rarely a said word anymore unless people are talking about Arcade Roms. The old Sega Service Hotline actually became the Playstation Service Hotline. I only know because about 15 years ago I was down in the dumps because my old Master Systems box switch for TV - Computer finally died and I was complaining to my mother because i was struggling to find a replacement and just bypassed it altogether. She found the old number written in the back in a very old phone book of hers. She called it and the number was still active. She asked and they laughed, the worker actually used to work for Sega back in the day. The hotline was now for Playstation. When she asked about the old switch he knew exactly what she was talking about. He made her wait and went to dig in a far corner of the warehouse and found some brand spanking New Old Stock switches still wrapped in bubblewrap. He sent us the switch for free.
You've heard this song at literally every sporting event since 1992. I always liked Everlast (Lead singer) until he lost his mind and joined a creepy, violent sex cult.
It was a delight to find you in my stream. Well-spoken, clearly understandable and, well, House of freaking Pain! Jump Around! That song will be playing in clubs and bars until the end of time. Only way to follow this up is Cypress Hill "Insane in the Brain." :D Drop those two at a club/party and insanity will prevail! Stay safe!
This one of those songs like Joe Budden "Pump It Up" where it was EVERYWHERE when it first dropped lol. Radio, movies, commercials, they used to play it at live sporting events and it brought the energy each time. Classic single.
These guys are out of Boston, just like "new kids on the block", "New Addition", "The Jonsun Crew", but check out Grandmaster Flash and the furious five, you know what time it is
80's and 90's Rapp was joke! The House of Pain, most definitely brought the noise! This joint was poppin in the clubs and on the radio, back in the day. Happy Gilmore.
Awesome reaction love me some "HOP" but now you gotta do the "Jump, Jump by Kriss Kross" this was a throw in the face if House of Pain when they wouldnt sign with Dupri, or at least thats how I think it went, im sure someone will correct me. But if you can please react to Kriss Kross - Jump Jump oh and Cypress Hill - Insans in the Brain has a similar feel, probably something else to react to if you haven't. Awesome reaction
When he mentioned hitting the girl. He said if she steps up and acts aggressive and threatens him first he wont hesitate to hit her in return. Everyone for equal rights and treatment.
I had the pleasure to actually live in northern Ireland in the 80s so I was often over the border to the Republic for the clubs etc, anyway 2 things are true about Ireland (real Ireland ) it's the most beautiful place on this planet, the thing is they are fucking crazy, love them to death but don't cross them.Real gangster forever.
Fun Fact : You know who that lead singer rapping is don't ya?? That's Erik Francis Schrody, aka Everlast, aka Whitey Ford, the first rapper that Eminem ever beefed with outside of Detroit. Everlast claimed to have tried to show love and say what's up to Eminem in the lobby of some concert arena, and Eminem just walked by ghosting him, so he started talking ish about Em in a few songs. Em claimed he was in pre concert mode getting mentally prepared to go on stage and never even saw Everlast. Em's first diss song was called "I remember", it was decent but not up to his standards today, Everlast returned a diss, but it was garbage, then Em's second diss "Quitter" was waaaaaay better than his first attempt, and he had D-12 jump on the track too, the 2nd half of the diss, he raps over Tupac's "Hit em Up" beat, and it's brutal. Everlast didn't return a diss, it was K.O. by Em. Great reaction ✌💚
They actually got ripped off with this song but still released it. Someone heard this and had Kriss Kross do a version called Jump. Both were hits, but it was some dirty work to try and take the House of Pain concept to make a hit.
You can still hear this playing in every college bar and it still hits
For real, that beat is addictive. DJ Muggs knew he had a banger with these guys!
Ii hear it playing at college football games all over the country as well.
Search "Wisconsin football jump around" ... whole football stadium jumps in unison between third and fourth quarters
every sporting event has played this song at least once per game/match since it came out.
Glad to read that. Was fire in clubs, like heavy fire.
Thirty years and it never gets old 🇮🇪☘️😎🏆
32 years later after its release....play this RIGHT NOW at any party or club or bar....and watch what happens!!!
😎☘️🇮🇪🔥🏆
Thats facts
True, this is a “play at your own risk” party banger 😂 because it gets shit turned up

Lol Fun reaction Ashley. This was the ultimate club and party jam back in the day
This playing back to back with Insane in the Brain was peak 90s
This song wasnt even their best song imo that would be House and the Rising Son and Back from the Dead and Who's the man.
The name of the rapper is Everlast. He later embarked on a solo music career, releasing the album "Whitey Ford Sings The Blues" which yielded the top ten hit "What It's Like". This is a song that you'd like Ashley! The whole album was story telling at it's best!
The whole album is dope
until em ended his career and showed him what it's really like to sing the blues 😂 🐐
@@esreveresrever2788 actually B-REEL Squashed the Beef and Told MnM that if he doesnt stop "Everlast is gonna Rap you right out of rapping"
He also collab'd with Carlos Santana and had a hot single on Santana's "Supernatural" album. "Turn Your Lights Down" I think the title was. Killer track.
La Coka Nostra!
House of pain main rapper is named Everlast. He did a song called "what it's like" official video
Everlast was originally a part of Ice T’s Rhyme Syndicate back in 1988
😂 you remember that he had a Song called " I got the Knack" I used to see the video on The Box back then
I remember plenty of house parties when this song was released. In quite a few I thought the floor would collapse when this came on.
Excellent Reaction.../Merry Christmas!!!
Everyone back in the day had this CD in their collection... Every party played this song... No matter what genre you listened to.
CLASSIC!!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Some Bars in that !! He's talking the talk & really aggressive. But he's giving ya a warning first, don't mess around with him.
I like the way the song tells a story. Gets ya hooked.
🔥🔥🔥This still gets played at NBA games to this day!
No other jam like that one..Thats it right there.
Still one of my alarm songs, the wife hates it but it definitely wakes you up when you get to bed late
Many's an alcholic drink was consumed while jumping around to this song in the 90's..
No lie..last alcohol i consumed was at an Irish wedding that played this a good half dozen times..it was great..and the pla e went nuts..
Happy to be your 100th commentor. Am a rocker and not really into rap myself but this ..er rocks.. :)
45 year old mom here. I was looking to see if anyone has reacted to this song and found you. This was the jam back in the 90's. Idk if you have heard Cypress Hill yet but it's a similar kind of music. Just makes you say "whhhaaaat??"

I appreciate you doing a video on Christmas. Shows your dedication. New subscriber ❤️❤️🎄🎄❄️❄️
I love this song, but now, every time I hear it, Happy Gilmore pops into my head. I LOVE IT!!!
One of my favorite rap songs. Wisconsin plays this before home games - the crowd goes wild!
Just about every house party in the 90s had this one playing.
Joe "the Biter" Necolo was the producer that was going to sign "House of Pain" but was Like "nah", then he signed "Criss Kross" and Stole the "Jump" aspect of "Everlast/ House of Pain" song.

Used to rock it going to hs... in my 86 Volvo... that car wasn't that old, then, and this song was new
The rapper is Everlast, he also has alternative rock songs "Whats it Like" was his biggest solo hit 🔥
everlast and myself started rapping around the same time. he was a protoge of ICE T and the SYNDICATE. Everlast was a memvbe of the Syndicate.
Out of the 30 teams in the NBA and 82 games and 41 home games during the regular season, two songs are played the most in the arena this song and Kris Kross “jump, jump”, played for every tip off
This song is played everywhere, but its still fun to jam
Fun fact , the instrumental was originally supposed to be for ice cube
Thos song is a vibe. Back in the day no matter what club you were in this came on everyone hit the dance floor. ❤😂
Everlast was put on by Ice T. He was part of Ice T's click The Syndicate. The Producer and DJ of the group is DJ Muggs the DJ & producer of the group Cypress Hill.
The rhythm and I got the knack

1993 baby! HoP was the anthem at every club, house party, and college party during the 90's!💯
👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽Great reaction Ashley! 😎❤️👏🔥⭐️
The request is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥😎❤️
I never get enough of your gorgeous presence.
Interesting bit of info the lead Rapper Everlast was actually affiliated with ICE-T back in the day in the late 80s
....and also produced by DJ Muggs from Cypress Hill
I gotta say, I’d love to be in an Irish bar when this song comes on. That might get the whole place bumping.
Not might it will..

The Sega reference tells you just how old this is. Still ❤🔥

Fun fact. The parade was the 1992 St. Patrick’s Day Parade in New York.
Still playing this at any sporting event you go to.

For an amazing change of pace and style, check out Everlast (the lead rapper here) and his song "What It's Like".
This came out in 92 and it was popular then and now
It was a delight to find you in my stream. Well-spoken, clearly understandable and, well, House of freaking Pain! Jump Around!

You got into that Ash! John Mc Enroe was on of the best tennis players back in the day hence the reference to "serving your ass"

I been to concert on Roskilde festival with about 7000 people, can tell every body jump around 😁
I think I fell in love when you said white boys are easy on the eyes...😊😊😊
🧡🔥 Surprise!😂😂 Tfs!
Now you have to list to all three albums in their entirety and then all of the soundtracks they've been on.
This is the most upbeat fight song ever! Haha
I was at the grocery store, and they were bumping house of pain, and all thought was jezz. I'm old
Have that rockin Christmas!! 🍻
