  • This TRICOM Training course covers fundamental and advanced tactics of impact weapon application, developed over the past 16 years by the instructor for this course, Jared Wihongi. In addition to his international reputation as a Close Quarters Combat (CQC) Instructor, Jared is a student of multiple martial arts and combative systems. He specializes in the impact weapon based combat arts of the Philippines. He has two decades of experience in law enforcement (both full-time and Reserve), most of which has been working on SWAT Teams and as a Use-of-Force Instructor.
    In 2007 Jared was consulted to develop the tactical baton training programs for the German made BONOWI Camlock Baton, and is currently the highest ranking International Master Instructor for BONOWI's international training programs.

    Excellent demonstration of baton tactics. A shame shots to the head and choke holds are a no go baton tactics for cops in the U.S. Very informative display of baton tactics. Lot strikes that can be utilized if striking the meaty portion of the body.
