i saw this somewhere and it made so much sense to me, as a queer woman. the reason why this ship is so good is because of the fact that the entire show lacked so much male gaze. this relationship that they have isn't trying to appeal to males by making it overly sexual. it isn't trying to fetishize wlw relationships. it's made to feel like a real thing and it feels so natural. riot did so well on this one.

Just the juxtapositions with the "Vi says I can trust you" --> "In what mad world would I trust you" --> "This only works if we can trust each other" God damn it I love how you create such a complex and profound relationship in two minutes with the simplest of means. Despite their rocky start, Vi began to trust Caitlyn overtime. The way Caitlyn cared for Vi when she was at her weakest and most vulnerable made Vi feel genuinely cared for and loved for the first time in many years. They bring out the best in each other and Riot needs to confirm their relationship like they did with Leona and Diana 😂 🏳️🌈 (Though I doubt they would show it on screen since homosexual romance is banned in many countries but it would be nice to maybe get a short novel of it)

Hey here's some young random straight woman's thoughts on this two: I've never felt so warmt up in my entire life with any other fictional couple, gay or straight or whatever. It just melts my heart how perfectly well done they are introduced to us and to each other in the series. Hey here's some young random straight woman's thoughts on this two: I've never felt so warmt up in my entire life with any other fictional couple, gay or straight or whatever. It just melts my heart how perfectly well done they are introduced to us and to each other in the series. I can relate with what I feel for my boyfriend because it's the same genuine feeling and emotion of love and connection and caring for your partner. God I do hope we'll see more of them together in season 2
Arcane is the best written series I've watched in a very long time. And Cupcake and Vi are one of the best same sex pairs ever written. I'm anxiously looking forward to whatever season 2 has in store for them.
