    3:10 they're called cat tongue pulls. They're my favorite style of zippers since you just remove the metal zipper pull part.

    Love me some DSPTCH! Wearing their sling as I watch this!

      I recently got the RND sling and have been liking it a lot!

    Normally with the removable bottom of the straps it's so you can remove the bag quickly without having to loosen the straps. But it looks like it's not easy to unclip so it does seem strange. Good review. I have been tempted by this bag for a while. Still on the maybe pile lol

      Yea I was surprised too. In previous version the entire strap was removable so perhaps that’s simply homage to what came before.
      It’s a nice bag for sure.

      The original versions had clips instead of the gates they were meant to be used so that you can tie it a chair or table, I own the second edition of this bag, if I'm not mistaken this is the fourth

      @@ghostmonkey0432Could you explain to me the differences between each version? I couldnn't find it online.
      I recently bought a used one (still waiting for it) and am wondering which version it is. Appreciate it.

    Have their prior version in canvas. Love it. And got a bunch of their bags, including sling. Wish they got more press - think their marketing just isn't as on it as Peak Design or Mission Workshop.

      No doubt. It is been 6 months and they still respond to my Instagram DM 😂. I was about to grab their sling and was put off by it.

    What's the white pouch? I am assuming that's xpac uvx40. Loving the zojirushi bottle as well!

      Filip Raboch Admin Pouch and I want to say is UVX40! Zojirushi has been the best bottles for insulation I’ve tried yet.

    How does it compare with other bags around the medium sizes (16-22L) you have reviewed? Which one to choose over the other, and what are the considerations? I've been eyeing the AC Daily Plus, AER Tech Pack 3, EG CPL16/CTB20, Sympl Commuter Backpack, and DSPTCH Daypack. I can't decide because straps and padding comfort and breathability are one of my top priorities cause i've got scoliosis and live in SEA. I've seen your reviews, and it's one of the bags reviews I've enjoyed so far.

      I really liked the Able Carry Daily Plus. That bag is really nice and pretty solid price point. It’s also very comfortable.
      I prefer the aesthetics of EVERGOODS to all the brands you asked about (I haven’t tried Sympl) but I’d feel confident recommending the AC Daily Plus if comfort is a priority. It’s available also in a highly weather resistant material.

    Out of all the bags you reviewed over the past few months what is your daily, the one you use the most?

    • @ECsEDC
      @ECsEDC  13 днів тому

      Currently locked into the Filip Raboch Wanderer. I’ll be reviewing this in a few more weeks as I’ve only had it for a month so I’ll wait a bit longer before recording in a video.
      Outside of that, I LOVE the CPL16, CPL24, and the Filip Raboch Daypack. I would add the GORUCK Bullet DC18L but I’ve found myself using a little less as the months progress. Still love it though.

    I wonder if a hydro flask trail series 32oz would fit in that bottle pocket…

    • @ECsEDC
      @ECsEDC  Місяць тому +1

      If the bag is empty a 1L Nalgene does fit. Once you start filling the inside then the bottle pocket is impacted by your carry. I don’t have a Hydroflask to test but hopefully that’s helpful!

    • @CarryQuandaries
      @CarryQuandaries Місяць тому

      @@ECsEDC the bottle in question is slightly narrower but also taller than the Nalgene. Anyway it seems the bottle would be better off inside the pack. 🤙
