Your Mir video series has been absolutely amazing, loved every minute of it, today I have been rewatching all of your Mir videos and look forward to the Skylab videos you have started
Did you know that I’ve met with and worked with Mike Foale several times, and showed him a cool space shuttle mission book where he signed for me! By the way another great upload, very fascinating, and good use of Curious Droid info
Another sad footnote: One of the astronauts who flew aboard the STS-89 mission to Mir, Michael P. Anderson, would later perish along with 6 other astronauts in the 2003 Space Shuttle _Columbia_ disaster. He was 43.
The collision should never have happened. The cosmonaut was ordered, against his better judgement, to perform a manual docking to determine if Roscosmos could retire the automated docking system built in the Ukraine, which was now an independant country. It was a cost cutting exercise that almost cost them Mir and its occupants.
Me and my senior prom date were the only 2 people I know that stayed up in high school to watch the NASA TV coverage of Mir's reentry.
Please tell me you married this person.
Im so glad UA-cam recommended your channel, i've absolutely loved the series on the Mir space station. Great work.
Glad it did too! Enjoy the other videos!
Love this series! I'd love to see something like this, but for the ISS
Hope you're liking the ISS series.

@@kevincgustafson thank you
@@kevincgustafson I’m sorry but it is a link with energia and buran spacecrafts and asked about a link with mirmodules
Would love to see Skylab miniseries next, or to switch it up, you could do space-lab from Eyes turned Skyward.
"combining a sailors technique with a scientists knowledge of physics" Funny, exact line Curious Droid used in the Mir collision vid
They said they could feel the change in pressure as the air leaked out; it caused their ears to 'pop.'
Yep! It was such a leak that the hatch literally sucked on
I met Reinhold Ewald once and we talked about his flight to Mir. It was really interesting to hear the experiences of someone who was actually there
In der Tat eine entspannte sowie angenehme Persönlichkeit

Had no clue.
What an awesome recreation of the Progress collision!!
I think a beginning of ISS series will be a logical transition from the end of the Mir series :)
Been gathering the mods and doing testing. Skylab first, then If history had gone differently Skylab B / Salyut
MIR legend!

Great video. You should do a similar series for the ISS once this one is finished :)
Linenger saw some sh*t when he was on _Mir._
AmaIng series
Great narration!
Absolutely stunning work. Just love it 😄 but sadly, Mir's end is slowly coming :/ and this series too
Worry not, there's plenty more to come
Fire is FRIGHTENING on a submarine and space station.
The fucking dedication of this man for only 10k subs
Very successful era ,and was just the beginning
Great Video! Please do some ISS ones eventually!
Are you going to do one more Mir episode, if you are you will have 9 episodes and 9 shuttle launches for mir
Great documentary. You tube recommended actually worked for once :) Did you do all the animations in KSP? If so that's even more impressive.
I did yeah
@@kevincgustafson Fantastic stuff. Just noticed that this is episode 8 and there's 7 more to watch :) Thanks for spending the time to make these.
Oooh im early this time :D
Mir Will Gets Old, In 1999 Or 2000
I swear the Station is a ROKSP replica
What is the list of mods and version of the game you are using?
200 milliliters is less than 7 ounces. What the hell was wrong with that juice? Who can't drink 7 oz of something they don't like?
WallHaxx 200ml of rotten juice will give you diarrhoea. You don't want to suffer from diarrhoea in a space station with the kind of toilet tgey have
Please.....😂😂😂😂😂😂
LOL!! 9:14 thrust in a vacuum #epicfail incoming comments about 'special mixture of gas compound vectoring' nonsense in 3,2,1..
