(releasing 17th July) I was extremely lucky to get a chance to sit down with Old Pang Yau himself, the wonderful Brandon Bentley, the audio and visual tech Guru who has worked his magic behind the scenes on countless HK BLuray releases for @Arrow_Video @Eurekaentertainment @chanel88Films and @ShoutStudios As well as creating fascinating Audio Commentaries for many of those same labels as well as @vinegarsyndromefilms and @kinolorber
Brandon speaks about his work on several of these releases here, the staggering amount of work he's been involved in for Arrow Video's Upcoming Bruce Lee at Golden Harvest Boxset,
Creating the hybrid cuts for Millionaires Express and Righting Wrongs as well as giving some amazing insight into just how much effort, time and passion goes into crafting the Bluray releases which we all adore!

Fantastic interview! I've known Brandon since around 2009, and we both went from super fans to working on official releases of the films we love over the years. But THIS takes the cake- what an accomplishment! Not only am I excited for my friend that he was involved in something so historically epic in cinema, but also for all of us who get to see and hear what he contributed because he gives it his all every time and is a real pro. I also want to throw another thanks out there to James Flower and Arrow too. I haven't got the set in my hands yet (Though I like the "yellow version's art too, mine's gotta be the one with Tony Stella's art), but it WILL happen soon and I'm ridiculously excited about it. The interview was in-depth in the best ways, with @TheFanaticalDragon asking all the right things, listening without interrupting, and adding pertinent comments, details, and opinions in all the right places. And Brandon going into all the details that I was curious about. I felt like I got to hang out with two cool cats who talked all about my favorite stuff. Thanks to both of you for doing this; what an excellent way to spend a few hours enjoying something while I work.

Thanks for the excellent interview with Brandon Bentley who has his strong taste and knowledge of the history of Bruce Lee as not just a martial artist and an actor but a real likeable human being in general.

You have no idea…I actually geeked out when I first saw you posted this! Brandon hardly does this kinda of stuff if ever! Such an insightful conversation! Most fans would agree WB is sitting on Pedicab driver etc, and could use the help of Brandon etc . I ordered the Arrow Bruce Lee set in anticipation of the new cut of Big Boss, and to listen to new Brandon B. commentaries! Cheers!

I really can’t wait for my Bruce Lee box set to arrive especially with all the alternative cuts as well.
I keep checking the Arrow website to see if they’ve dispatched it early even though it doesn’t come out till next week.
This is the box set I’ve been really looking forward to owning, & listening to Brandon going in to detail makes me even more excited.
You and me both mate! it's shaping up to be Arrow's greatest produced Bluray boxset so far, which is saying something as they've had some crackers, but this set goes over and above the call of duty right across the board. I think you're going to absolutely love it!
Can't wait to get my proper copy too! The Screeners are great to have to check over for reviewing and getting the set into the next Eastern Heroes magazine in time, but the full retail version is the one I'm just as excited to get my hands on too!

Mate I have enjoyed the recent interviews with Frank Arne and Brandon so much .its an absolute pleasure listening to you speak to all of them and gain a greater level of depth and understanding .
I don't think I realised just how small our community is, and I have so much respect for all 3 for doing what they do (sometimes for no pay) because they want to preserve the legacy.

A Question, when G.O.D. was released and they were showing the filming of Way of the Dragon the picture of those scenes with Chuck Norris were incredible and I remember thinking why does the actual movie look this good, does the 4k match up to this ?
Do you mean the original theatrical release of GOD? It's hard for me to answer that question, I've only ever seen Way of the Dragon and GOD on home media before, and compared to previous DVD and Bluray releases, it looks incredible.

All that passion and at the end TheHut Group messes up shipping these excellent editions with proper protection. Guys, you really have to change your approach to customer service and shipping across Europe.
Nothing to do with anyone here mate, and not Arrow’s fault either. It’s all down to the Hut Group and they’ll never see any of these comments. Zero fucks are given by them for anything Zavvi/arrow related. They make far more money from their ‘beauty’ brands. That’s why they pack all the boxsets the same way they do tubes of lotion 😂

FFS. It’s complicated, but basically No, not unless you have a multi region player. Even the 4K sets have some content on region B discs.

Really, you get all that from my comment? Or maybe it’s because you essentially just told me you couldn’t be bothered actually watching my video. Or maybe even just that my patience is running thin answering the most basic question imaginable, over and over again, and it’s one that is so, so easily googled. Like a 5 second check of the Arrow website would answer that question. Also I’m not British. I’m Scottish. We’re not very temperamental at all.
very strange how they just asked ! and they delivered the Big Boss Mandarin version lol how long did they have that for ?? mind blowing really and it just goes to show us anything is possible . Lets hope Pedicab Driver gets a good release !!
