  • Meet the 11-year-old boy who is determined to become a farmer - he rents his own land, breeds sheep and even taught himself to spin their wool.
Joe Trofer-Cook’s passion for farming was sparked after his grandad Pete Cook, 74, built a planter in the garden for his seventh birthday.
He started selling homegrown produce and saved “every penny” to buy his first four sheep - Rhubarb, Strawberry, Pumpkin and Radish.

Farmer Joe, you've got more ambition and courage than most adults possess. Sounds like this kid has given this venture with careful thought, again outdoing most adults, and with this level of commitment, he'll be a success.

After seeing how's it going for Jeremy Clarkson, it seems to me that bureaucracy and crazy regulations are killing the business in England. I hope the boy has some adult to manage it.

I hope he comes to see that it's best to not kill the animals. Everyone needs to eventually adopt a plant based diet. It takes time but it can be accomplished.

You understand the mass production of produce results in the death of millions of animals whom live in that pasture. Yet if you kill one animal it can feed a family for months. You don’t care about animals lives you only care if they’re cute and if you sound like an honorable person.

He earned this stuff. He started with selling produce and bought a chicken & moved onto selling chicken eggs. Then he started accumulating wealth from there. Yes, he was provided land, but he actually made use of the land.
He works his ass off & has every right to enjoy the payoff.

And I read another comment from a resentful person. There a lot of poor people without human values and very indolent. The boy is an exemple no matter how many money they have. He is not playing videogames and eating french fries in front of TV all day long.
