PSI 8.8, 10:1 forged flat tops, Comp Cams XM296HR, Holley Terminator X, MSD/Holley12-1 crank trigger

  • 'Kept having issues with the OEM 58x crank trigger dropping signal... so I installed a cheap Summit 8" BBC balancer and Holley/MSD 12-1 crank trigger. Runs 100% better now.
    Engine details:
    PSI (Power Solutions International) 8.8 liter / 535 cubic inch (Gen7 Big Block Chevy)
    4.350" bore x 4.500" stroke. 6.7" Scat I-beam rods, Kellog forged crank, Mahle 10:1 forged flat top pistons, Comp Cam XM296HR hydraulic roller cam, PAC 1219X beehive springs, OEM 1.8 roller rockers, Deka 60lb injectors, No-name 92mm billet throttle body, Holley Terminator X EFI system.

    Has a nice steady timing at idle now where before it was jumping all over the place like it was over correcting for idle rpm surge .

      Yeah ive been watching alot of tuning videos.
      I put the IAC back on and have it idling even better now. Cold start, hot start, etc... fires right up.
      Also pulled some TPS fuel enrichment so it doesnt get as blubbery after cracking open the throttle. It had way too much fuel dumping when I revved it and had trouble recovering.
      Still a long way to go but im sneaking up on it.
