I was on this ship year 2007 -2008 as IT Officer in Ushuaia, Argentina expedition to Antarctica. It was so wonderful to remember., the penguins, the iceberg, the seals and the group of people. Prior to navigate I installed the new 25K USD sonar head for a safe navigation satisfactorily as per instruction of our German Captain with collaboration of the diver specialist and the rest of the crew involved.
How awesome! Yes. It’s really a great little ship. I enjoyed it very much and it was such an amazing expedition. I’m sure each expedition you were on was different than the next. So exciting!

Thanks so much flor the compliment. It was one of my absolute favorite trips. Booking early is good and I’ll tell you why when you call. They just released their 2022/2023 season and I’ve already booked a few people into that season. It’s never warm in Antarctica but there were definitely times I didn’t need my parka while outside.

Does the ship reach shelter islands or antarctica on the 2nd evening of the drake passage?
Depends on the voyage.
I didn’t see any kids on the vessel. Is it safe to assume it’s not a kid friendly cruise?
Some kids and yes kids friendly as long as they are over 14

Nope - it was added for stabilization - it looks weird though, I know! 😃. It’s a great little ship

what type of hull does it have? I am curious because it says it has non-Azipod rolls royce engines.
