- Last fall I shot a boating event where I met a family who are now the proud owners of Vic Edelbrock's former waterski racing boat. It was such a cool boat with such an interesting race history, that I ended up doing a whole separate photo shoot and feature story on it for River Daves Place. For this week's video, I thought I would post my interview with Jerry and Mick Jeffery, the proud new owners. It wasn't the best sound conditions, but it was still a fun look back at the history of an amazing boat and how they came about buying it.
Check out the full write up and photo shoot on River Daves Place, here:

Haha! Hey, thanks for watching! Great to see you on here! Yeah, she’s a loud one.
Great interview
Thank you!
Off the subject I'm from the river up in Mohave valley area when you see dudes in Parker with life jackets on it seems to make more of a statement than anywhere else in the planet
Beautiful boat 🙂 I have a question how does one determine where to bolt the engine in the back to have the right balance? Is there any correct location? I would like to move mine forward from original location
Thanks for the comment! I know there’s some math behind it, but I don’t know what it is. Dave at River Dave’s Place could probably tell you.
@@FastLoudPhotography thank you 🙂
boat rigger's rule of thumb is that the motor can be raised one inch for each eight to 10 inches of distance between the transom and prop. Generally speaking, but if you're running the jet drive there's a whole different set of rules you run by-
@@hedgepethracing9590 I’ve seen the motor has been previously mounted in different positions looking at the mounting
I’ve recently added a lot more weight in the back so I was thinking moving it forward to compensate for additional weight ?
