Oh wow! The Sound of Music steps! So cool! I loved the snow-capped everything... the market, the old town. Just gorgeous, classy looking and charming. And you got to pet a donkey in Oberndorf! Can't believe all you managed to do in that first day as well! Nicely done, and glad Wills got to his ultimate ornament shop! The baubles you picked up looked gorgeous! Next time, a longer trip! Thanks for this Rach and Wills!
Thank you so much Susan. It was such a special trip and we did feel so Christmassy (our feet were dead though!!). It all seems so long ago now. Thanks so much for watching. Cheers 🍻
Loved coming along with you on this snowy visit to Salzburg, Rachel and Wills. The snow makes a perfect setting this time of year. Love watching it from Arizona! 😁😁 We also loved seeing the "Silent Night" chapel. What could be more Christmas than that. Your really did find it this time and will watch the full video next! The food looks wonderful. Thanks for bringing us along.
We were so lucky with the snow! It started as we touched down in Munich and didn’t really stop until we left Salzburg! It certainly made the whole trip feel really Christmassy. Thanks so much for joining us and Happy New Year. Cheers 🍻
Another video to be excited! What a great place to visit... So festive! Thanks for bringing us here! A wonderful Salzburg experience... Merry Christmas!!!
We've done Salzburg in the summer too and it's equally as beautiful then. The green of the hills and mountains around is just stunning. We hope you get to enjoy it at market season this year. Cheers for watching 🍻
Nice old town in Saltsberg plenty too see and do . Then the train ride to another cool looking town and ice rink very Christmasy. Good video thanks for sharing your adventures with us. Merry Christmas 🎅

Ah bless the pair of you. We’ve enjoyed finding Christmas this year, it may become a yearly thing!! Salzburg is amazing and we’ve vowed to go back and see it for longer probably in spring time. The trains are so good over there - as much as I love train travel, you can’t relax in this country never knowing if you’re going to get there!! The eggs all made it back so egg boxes are the way to go should you ever visit!! Your medal looks amazing on the Christmas wreath! We’re going to have to start a new one next year as that one is now full!! We hope you had an amazing Christmas - happy Boxing Day. Cheers 🍻
@@PostcardAndAPint thanks so much guys, gosh you’ve really worked so hard on these videos. Just watched your Oberndorf one from yesterday and loved it! Great Christmassy instalments both of them, you definitely found Christmas. Always been worried about bringing decorations back in your hand luggage, the egg container is definitely the way to go! Pro tip! Long since given up on trains unfortunately in this country and that was long before the strikes. A pity as it would be a great convenient way for us to get to airports if they were reliable. Our country should hang its head in shame! Off to watch some Boxing Day traditions, hopefully get a video out on Jills channel from it. Have an awesome day. Lots of love ❤️
I can't believe how many different Christmas Markets you visited this year, I've enjoyed all of them. Salzburg looks like a great place to visit, I really like the cobble stone streets, and the narrow streets. Reminds me of Italy! This is one of the great things about Europe, you can go country to country without having to jet halfway around the world, we want to do a full blown European Tour rather than spending all of our time in Germany.
We certainly got around this year!! The European markets are wonderful and there are many left for us to explore!! We’d love to see a Pips does Europe video!!! Bring it on. Cheers 🍻
Love the Austria Christmas Market! How could you skip the wine? Rach watch your language! We need to get ourselves some roasted chestnuts. Looks like we'd love that apple strudel. On a silent night, you have to whisper. What a sunset! And you definitely found Christmas. Proud of you Rach for going 14 hours without a sausage. So happy you got to visit your favorite store Wills!! Merry Christmas you two! Cheers! 🍻
Cheers guys and Merry Christmas! Cheers for the message last night. Looks like you’ve had a wonderful Christmas in the snow. Salzburg is a joy and we definitely want to go back for longer next time (and not walk so far the day before!!!). The strudel was something else! The icing on the cake was definitely Oberndorf though. Truly Christmas. All the best and catch up soon. Cheers 🍻
That train was so clean and pretty sleek. What a great hotel and location. The market, Motzarts home, and palace were cool. Bill would definitely have to have the chestnuts. The Silent Night Chapel was definitely the highlight of the video for us. That little town looks like they should be able to bottle Christmas for the rest of us. The Christmas Market was just lit and decorated so beautifully. The Inn looked so cozy and delicious. I can see why he loves that store. Love that they put them in egg cartons. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, Bill and DeAnna
Ah thanks guys. The European trains are a joy to ride, both in price, cleanliness and punctuality!!
