Skylar Mays SPIN MOVE IS TOO SMOOTH! Ballislife Official Summer Mix

  • 6'3" Skylar Mays out of Baton Rouge, La has an unique style of play. The PG just recently committed to his home state College of LSU. On the court Skylar has the defender guessing on every play. He uses his smooth spin move, and crafty hesitation to get to the basket at will. Also, notice the way he utilizes the "Jordan Clap" on his layups. I personally haven't filmed many High School players that can pull that off.

Many people comment about his head being down, because it's taught from day one to dribble with your head up so you can see the court. If you pay attention, Skylar has his head up until he's making a move. Once he makes his move, he isn't looking to pass. He's looking to score and only score. He sees the court fairly well. As far as the left hand when finishing, so what? Who cares? He's finishing! You have NBA players who finish with their dominant hand regardless of the side of the goal they're one. It's best that he finishes than go up with his left and miss.
