I like how taking Korean music which is really good, and their waking up the world with how good they are. And then taking American musicians and creating something so good, we are building bridges between cultures and I am so happy for that. 케이팝이 서양팝과 구별되는 특징, 모든 케이팝 장르의 보편적 유사성이 있는데.. 이 노래도 전체 리듬의 구성, 특히 하이라이트전에 쉬는 단절구간, 비트, 반복가사, 중간에 랩들어가는 파트, 후크 등 모든 작곡스타일이 케이팝 스타일이고....
비디오 구성도 배경에 전철, 터널, 세탁실, 미연파트, 댄스파트 등 편집이 케이팝 스타일을 그대로 모사했음.
메인 가사의 언어가 영어일 뿐... 만약, 여느 케이팝처럼 메인 가사를 한국어로 했다면 전형적 케이팝스타일이라는 것이 확연히 드러났을 것.
해외 케이팝 팬들은 케이팝이라고 분명하게 말함.
라이엇이 케이팝을 모티브로 제작했다고 했다고 밝힌 바와 같이 정말 전형적인 케이팝의 작곡, 가사구성, 비디오 구성을 완벽히 이해하고 잘 만들었음. 아마도 한국인과 케이팝 제작 외국인 파트너가 참여한 것으로 생각됨.
