Christoph Waltz has some absolutely mind blowing acting skills and I'm genuinely grateful Quinten Tarantino found Mr Waltz's incredible skills for the world to see, I had never heard of Mr Waltz until Inglorious Bastards.
So happy Tarantino fished him out of Germany and use his raw talent. This guy is not only a genius but a super talented actor and thanks to Quentin we got to know how amazing he is. Baffles me that Christoph wasn't making it as an actor over there with how many language he speaks fluently and how good he is. Their loss our gain !
The fact that the actor was so good that he made us love the villain more than the hero is crazy to me, and even funny because the hero is very good to.
Fun fact about German adaptations of Tarantino movies: Whenever Christopher Waltz speaks, it usually sticks out like a sore thumb since he - obviously - synchronizes his own characters for the German audience. Other German actors are usually taught to sound as comprehensible as possible, to a degree that they almost sound like robots.
Christoph Waltz is an amazing actor, he can play parts that are pure evil while giving the audience the sense that maybe he is evil or maybe not. To me (other people have their own opinions, perhaps people of significantly more credibility than mine for the acting profession), he has this ability to add dimensions to characters other actors struggle to match. Tarantino has been able to tap into that talent. IMHO. Nice video montage Via Cinema. well done. bravo
Absolutely agree! Christoph Waltz brings unmatched depth to his characters, and Tarantino knows exactly how to harness that brilliance. Truly remarkable performances. Thank you.
That he had to struggle with his career is not understandable. He was so good and well known in german speaking movies. When i saw that he was cast as Landa i just thought well why not earlier. The perception seem to be so different by executives really.
There are actors that build a character on their own and improvise lines, adding to the script, and that's a good thing in it's own right. When an actor wanders off the script, Quinton tells them to do what he wrote. Christophe is the perfect actor to complement what a Tarantino or a Kubrick want in an actor. Someone that can read the script, adhere to it, and bring it to life through their action. I can appreciate both ways of film making, but I truly feel that most of the most beautiful and iconic film making happens when a Writer/Director has a strict vision and the actors can bring that vision to life for us all to enjoy.
That's true. When a talented screenwriter and director are able to write what we see, and the actor simply conveys it, that's when masterpieces are created.

Amazing editing. I can feel this is going to blow up
Thanks man. I hope so.
@@Viacinemaa it did, holy fuck. 918k at the moment. when subbed you had 56 subs, now you have over 2k. Well deserved. Grind it man
@ Thank you for believing in me. It really gives me a boost to work harder. Thank you once again.
His humility in recognizing the character's brilliance in Tarantino's directing despite his unbelievable talent makes him super likeable
What a great job! Very nicely arranged and edited. I love it when UA-cam recommends me videos like that.
Thank you so much. I love it too.
The smile when he receives his first oscar makes me smile with him. Down to earth real joy, beautiful.
Yes, I love this moment too.
top content i wish sucess mate!
That's very kind. Thank you so much. 😊
Hacia tiempo q no veia un video de UA-cam tan excepcioonalmente editado. Mis mas sinceras felicitaciones
Muchas gracias.
Awesome video
Thanks!
What a wonderful tribute to the brilliance of Tarantino and the enchanting humility of the talented Waltz. Brilliant video!
Thank you. I did my best.
Exactly! It’s incredible that he was only discovered after 30 years of work. Let’s just be grateful
Being humble about your talent makes it shine even brighter.
True 100%.
You need more views. Amazing video!
Thanks, I am so happy to hear this.
Calm down
Much respect for Mr. Waltz, he is always sure to remind people of the genius Tarantino, the man behind the poetry as he calls it. Very humble of him!
Oh yes.
Enjoyed the video, but the edit @3:57 felt a little unnecessary 😅
Ah, I see. Sorry, it was just a reference to Django.😅
@@Viacinemaa No worries, I definitely see that you put effort into that, but thought I'd give a critique. Hopefully it helps.
@ Thanks. Take care.
Beautifully put together, thank you
Thank you too!
love this video
Thanks, it means a lot to me.
Thank you tarantino for giving this amazing actor the chance he needed to display his hard work and be rewarded for it.
Yes, we all thank Tarantino for this.
Great video. Subbed 🎉
Good editing too
Thanks a lot.
The fact that the actor was so good that he made us love the villain more than the hero is crazy to me, and even funny because the hero is very good to.
True! It’s amazing how a great performance can make the villain steal the show, even when the hero is awesome too.
Interesting. Good to know that.
Yes, that's true. Let's be glad that in the end, the world got to know him.
German movie scene, for the lack of a better term, is full of hacks. Couldn't recognize talent when it stared them right in the eye.
That first scene in Inglorious Basterds ...WOW!
Yes, only one word...WOW.
1:03 is that andy samberg ?
I don't think so.
I think it was dude
Yes, it’s from an snl skit of celebrities auditioning for roles easy to find on UA-cam and one of the best sketches ever
So he found someone from Austria who did it better than any german? Sounds about richtig!
I think his work still won in the end.
well he needed an incredibly doubious and slimy individual and you only find them in austria :)
thats funny
Very good video! I never knew that Tarantino found him, but I am very thankful for that. Both are just geniuses!
Couldn't agree more!
Great work on the editing. You deserve to have a bigger audience, keep going and great things will happen.
I appreciate that! I will keep working, no doubt about it.
0:21 im pretty sure he says "wouldn't have".
My mistake.
this was woderful to watch. thank you
Glad you enjoyed it!
I think Diane Kruger might be the 2d best actor in the movie with tons of good performances. Plus she is a bombshell.
Yeah, she also gave a great performance.
Because of this guy, I watched those movies again and again.
