    Love it. That shot at 10:09 of CA State Route 14 splitting off from Interstate 5 on frame right, and CA State Route 118 on frame left is just amazing to see from that vantage point. I constantly drive between Bakersfield and Burbank and go through that interchange almost daily.

    I like this pilot!! He speaks clearly even when speaking to the tower. And hes getting the clearest responses back I've ever heard!! back when I flew I proved several times that the tower has no idea what is being said to them a lot of the time and they'd respond as if they knew what I was saying.

    Great video. I live near Heathrow U.K. but one of my favourite fields in the states was Santa Monica. I was a aviation photographer and loved sitting up on the balcony where there was a little cafe taking pictures, beautiful weather. Was last there in 1999. Great memories. Thanks for the film.

    Enjoyed it. Especially the PUB part. I did some flying into there in a Mooney Ranger back in 1971. I was based at Fort Carson(not as an Army pilot) near Colorado Springs. I had gotten my Private Pilot at HVN 2 weeks before I went in the Army in 1970. PUB airport looked very different back then. If I am remembering correctly it had 3 runways that formed a triangle back then. Thanks for helping to bring back some old memories.

    At 24:26 you mention what you think is a military airstrip. It's a drag strip at Pueblo Motorsports Park. It does have about 2,600 feet of straight so it could serve some as an emergency landing spot in pinch.

    • @EfficientRVer
      @EfficientRVer 4 роки тому +1

      Bangor gets plenty of interesting stuff for you to see already, what with it being the last super cheap Jet-A before heading across the pond! Here in Keene as far as jets go, we just get a local corporate Falcon 2000 operating a few times per week, and occasional Netjet type stuff, usually Challenger 300 or 350, or Citation 560. But this weekend a Citation 680 taking off laid down an ADS-B track through my back yard as it turned after takeoff. A pair of C-130s tend to buzz us once or twice a week with no ADS-B out. Occasionally a pair or two of F-35s go roaring somewhere at maybe FL150, also without ADS-B out.

    Enjoyed this Max. I flew into KPUB on my solo cross country for my PPL. Had to pit stop at Flower. Very hospitable FBO with some extras.

    While you were out here hope you had the chance to grab a piston and hit Catalina and Big Bear. Oh and nice to see my abode Pasadena from your camera although the bobcat fire smoke killed any real look. Enjoy SMO because it will be gone all too soon.

      Hey Gary, Sadly I wasn’t able to make it to Catalina it big bear in a piston. Hopefully will be back soon! Thanks for watching! Take care

    Sweeping video! But hey, I live in the same area as you do, and I think New York’s Hudson Valley is absolutely breathtaking, especially in the Fall.

    Really nice work. You're staying way ahead of the airplane which is why it all looks so easy. Looks like SCT has ceilings up to FL190 in some places, unless it's a fixed pointout for aircraft on that SID, we'll look at getting that refreshed on PE!
