Marshall Crenshaw is a genius pop songwriter who is often overlooked. He's one of my absolute favorites and how many years later and I'm still listening. He was John Lennon on The Beatlemania Tour which is where I first saw him. A few years later we were hearing "Some day, Some way" climbing the Pop Charts. I truely loved his first self titled album. Every song a hit IMHO.
Incredible lyrics; 'As life goes on and time goes by, will her heart ever be satisfied?' - incredible guitar playing and musicians in general. Nice recording too.

I think his biggest problem was that he was too pop for rock and too rock for pop. I feel the same way about Richard Marx and Rick Springfield.
Perfect pop song, Marshall.
Should have been #1 !
Excellent song.
Marshall is a huge talent.
Great song. Well done.

It blows my mind that Crenshaw wasn't bigger in the 80s.
hes great, cant believe i totally overlooked him till now
He's great but out of place by 80s. Feels like a 70s rock band
