Great reaction! This song kicks ass! Some serious ...And Justice For All vibes to this song! Everyone is at the top of their game... well although this was the best solo so far off the tracks we've heard on this album, Kirk still needs to spend more time in the studio and less surfing cause it's still a little too lazy for me. Being a guitarist myself I can still hear the reliance on the wah-wah and winging parts with improvisation a little too much. Kirk your solos are supposed to be tiny compositions within the song! This one had a good structure at least. Other than that, I think this song is freaking SWEET!! Long time since I heard James and Lars sound this great, and Rob is always kicking ass so great to hear him take up more of the mix on this one. James: Understand that? You don't have to overdub fifty tracks of the same riff, if you push up the volume of the bass you'll get that swooped chug sound much easier!!

@@JustinPiercee Yeah I mean I could whip up a solo like this in like five minutes when recording music at home, but I'm not a global institution making billions of dollars. Kirk's had how many years now while working on this album?
Kirk solos were rarely composed tbh. On justice he had to wing most of them having only so little time to record them, the rest of the band took so much time in perfecting everything ( and being dicks to the bassman...). Kirk has a great improvisation sense, and the skills to wing it. This one sounds a bit more composed though.
