@Insym - "Is this a sauna with a dock? What is this millionaire's place?" As somebody who's been to Finland (and loves it), not only can I tell you that most people do have Saunas and afford summer houses/huts, they even at times have their own small islands that are just near the land. People there make quite a bit of money, while places are also quite affordable. I very much recommend visiting, it'll blow your mind how beautiful and nice it is!!
I have never watched a gaming video past 40 minutes but didn't even realize that this video was 2 hours because Insym has such a fantastic way of engaging the audience with his stories and conversations. So relaxing
RIght??? Usually when it comes to really long gameplay videos, I can't help but skip around to interesting parts, but Insym's interactions with the chat is always so fun to listen to
I like that with the point and click reporting system, it allows you to be absolutely certain that something is or isn't supposed to be there. Makes second guessing yourself less of a problem.
And also a lot less of having to guess what category an anomaly is part of, which is probably the thing that nee players struggled with the most in the previous games lol
Insym saying how he dislikes beaches makes me feel so good because finally someone understands the pain of the salty water and the sand being everywhere on you 😂
Oh, I know the perfect beach for you all; in Gaspésie (in Canada), there are many beaches that are stone covered (small pebbles (even semi-precious ones!) and bigger rocks) and there are usually nearly no one on the beaches, so you get the whole beach to yourself. The water is salty, but then again, since it is usually pretty cold, (and not very sunny), going for a swim isn't why you would go there. As a added bonus, it's windy so bugs don't bother you. When my familly goes there, I could spend all day just looking for pretty stones, listening to the seagulls and waves. The best place is Carleton-sur-mer. Beautyfull place to go camping, with a huge playground for the kids, and, as explained, the best beach ever. And if you are lucky, you might even see a whale. There are plenty of places for tourist to go and visits althought it might require driving around.

When you were talking about disliking beaches I was like “… what’s not to like?” then you mentioned saltwater and I remembered that’s what more people would be used to. I grew up on the Great Lakes with warm sandy beaches and fresh water! 😂
Former hotel employee (front desk manager) here: they don’t care if you steal soap at all LOL hundreds in the laundry area and dozens in supply closets on each floor. They anticipate guests will use them so it doesn’t matter. Steal confidently! Edit: they typically don’t replace toilet paper unless it’s close to running out (at least they’re supposed to). The soaps usually aren’t replaced unless they’ve been opened or are wet from the sink.
My state is bigger than your country and so are like 20 others, so when planes got popular, the trains, which previously connected the entire country, went broke.
Former hotel worker here, wanted to answer a few questions insym had just incase anyone was curious lol. Hotels actually cheap out a lot when it comes to cleaning, if a little soap is left then we wouldn’t replace it, only if it was empty/gone entirely. People usually took the soaps with them, i constantly had like 30 of each kind of soap on my cart With beds the only things that were washed are the sheets, comforter, and pillowcases. Toilet paper follows the same soap rule, if it’s not empty don’t replace it. Mini bars are a scam, but used pretty consistently actually. (Was also at a pretty nice hotel so people had money to burn) All this is at a decent hotel, so i can’t imagine what policies lower end places may have lol

My favorite anomaly so far is Joulupukki (Finnish Santa Claus) comin' at the player with an axe because they found his kesämökki (summer cottage). 😂 Can't wait to play this game soon!
I also fully thought the suspenseful music meant there were too many anomalies. Guess it's just a time indicator, but definitely gets the adrenaline going. I think it's cool to hear the sound engineering get better, even if it means I get scared more easily x~x
Also, FUN FACT: Wave pools are the most dangerous attraction in a water park. All those speed slides, the vortex slides, the water swings, rapids, jets, wet floors and wet stairs and saunas and everything, but nope. All of that pales in comparison to the drownings in the wave pool.
Okay, can I just say something about the train in the Netherlands thing? You're forgetting the fact that the United States is MASSIVE, and the Netherlands is probably the size of the state of New York by comparison. 😂
Hey Insym, don't know if chat ever answered, but the reason (to my knowledge) why some pools don't allow swimtrunks any more is because they soak up so much water which you then remove from the pool. A single person doing it wouldn't hurt them, but when half the swimmers do apparently it adds up to the point that it became a problem. Again, that's what they told us. No way to really verify it.
Honestly love when you play these games. Not just because the games are awesome, but because of the conversations that are to be had are some of the best on stream
I'm honestly kinda glad stuff is a little simpler in this game. I've watched some of my fave youtubers try the first few games, and because they struggle with the really tiny stuff, they often lose before they got to 3am onwards, which means they're missing out on the weirder stuff. It meant they found it more 'boring' because they just kept cycling the same few hours with really minor problems and not seeing the meat of the game.
In the discussion about Trains connecting towns in the US they USED TOO, all the trains used to carry the fertilizer, feed, grains, corn, to and from remote farming towns while a carriage was typically connected to it, but the interstate push and push for Semi's destroyed these systems then the trains stopped coming and the tracks where pulled up, there is still a train bridge crossing over the nearby river but there is no tracks connecting too it. At this point it would be harder to reinstall these trains because the train station near the town center has long since been torn down and houses sit on the space of the old tracks meaning the only place to build a new one would be way outside the the town center meaning anyone who was going to ride the train has to drive to get to the station anyway. Convenience is important in an industry like that so it would never last if the station is in an inconvenient place if we tried to bring it back. Not to mention the Karens who would be pissy about having a train so close to their house making all that noise. As a extra note I blame the Oil Barons for our lack of useful trains in the US. Fuck those guys.

One more fun story: my last job literally ran their IT department exactly as you described during the Hospital level. It’s so funny when there’s an anomaly and you’ve skipped through all cams twice and then chat just blasts you 🤣🤣 I’m glad you’re self aware 😂good stuff tho keep up the good work 😇
I did a quick Google search of wishing wells. Apparently there are 2 reasons wishing wells became popular. 1: German and Celtic mythology says that deities live in wells and giving coins please them. In return you get good fortune or favor. 2: copper and silver *might* provide a microbial benefit when present in a rather static drinking water source. Coins would be one of, if not the most common source of these metals and *could* have resulted in water which is safer to drink. Interestingly, these affects are not mutually exclusive. As with many religious, spiritual and traditional beliefs, the truth may be that the belief began due to the observed benefit of an action. Why it is global could be that all people that saw copper and silver in water saw the health benefits and therefore developed a parallel tradition. Equally likely, European traders, and later colonizers brought their traditions with them to other parts of the world and the tradition became popular in a new environment.
Love it. Also, it’s awesome to see your subscriber count go up in just the bit of time I discovered your channel…so well deserved and then some! Really happy for you and you’re getting so close to a million!! Good stuff :o)
idk if it's been said, but the Hotel level is based off of Stephen King's "The Shining" and the real hotel the one in the book is based on, "The Stanley Hotel" in Colorado, is haunted
i love how Insym tells the story about the hotel soaps :D In my case, I do tend to take those home, because... you paid for it, right? I mean, you paid for the room and to use everything in there (except food. Hotel food is expensive AF). Also, it feels like a waste, especially those tiny bar of soap. Other than hotel soap smells nice, they are also the perfect size to throw in your travel kit LOL I remember the first time I had travel to Japan, before we left our hotel, I was able to keep 6 sets of toiletries (soap, disposable toothbrush, toothpaste, shower gel, laundry plastic/case) lol
12:40 But the big scares lose their impact when they're too frequent. They're best when you've been hyper focused looking for small changes for a while and then suddenly *BAM!* freaky intruder.
I love the high energy that Insym always has, it's sooo contagious, if I'm having a bad day, I just watch his gameplays and everything is fine again. TY for that!
Maybe the summer cottage map is indeed set during the day, but because its in an international branch (like mentioned in the description), you watch the camera during the night but in the location its still day because of timezone. I guess with that info you can estimate where the BOADAC office is located.
I love that not only that hanged person in train window was there like half of the night, but even when Insym spot it and report, door was fixed, person stays there for rest of the shift and even chat was so into conversation that all missed it 😅
As a Fin, I probably did the fastest double take in a history of a mankind when Insym read the Northern Finland part 😂 Also: 1) Yes Finland is not part of Scandinavia! We are part of Nordics but Scandinavia is Sweden and Norway and sometimes Denmark and Iceland 2) In the Midsummer (Saturday that falls between June 20th and 26th) the sun doesn't set in Finland! In some parts of Finland, the sun doesn't really set for most of the summer 3) You don't really need to be a millionaire to own a summer cottage! Sure, it's expensive but most of them are family cottages that are self built and are sometimes rented out to others! Renting one is not all that expensive (depending what type of cottage you rent) 4) Nordic countries seem very similar to each other, but you really need to either live here or visit outside of the capital cities to really experience the differences! Nordic countries have had long history together and many wars with each other that our cultures have mixed together quite alot!
Music, among other things, has the power to attach itself to memories. If you consistently play it and it's fixed rather than just being an ever-changing spotify playlist then it really helps bind and recall memories. Sometimes when playing an old song I'll get a flashback to some game I was playing way back when I first listened to it. That's why boss music is so powerful in games, the fact you always hear that music and always associate it with the boss, rather than it being whatever background music you had on at the time...
The reason for the hygiene swim shorts thingy is because before this rule was put in place people wore the swim shorts as regular shorts the whole day and then took a swim in those
I am so happy you play it again! here the other day, i was thinking to my self, ohh i could see some Oberservation Duty and just chill. And now you are playing it! such an honor to follow you on you're journey.

The way you're talking about thinking that everyone loves hiking gave me the biggest jumpscare ever... living and growing up in Austria seems nice for people that like hiking, but it was pure horror for me :o
Fun fact. All of the soap, and hair products are YOURS to take in a hotel room. You pay it when you book. They are yours to use and take. If you leave them-they either get tossed or reused. So use it or take them home!! They are for you. Thats why some hotel rooms switched to reusable handsoap and shampoo dispensers in bathrooms. Its less wasteful
HECK YAAA OBSERVATION DUTY! 🎉 Also @17:30 i used to swing on swing benches like that with my cousins. It's nice! It definitely touches the floor a little but that's because of use over a long time hahah. :) You should try those out, it's a neat little experience 💖
46:37 by far THE MOST scary thing in this entire video. I was watching this stream during late evening yesterday in my apartment by myself and I had pretty much no lights on so seeing that made me feel SO uneasy
re the car with no back window. one of the dumbest things ive ever seen in real life was while driving, some lady was driving a car that had a rearview mirror but instead of a mirror it was a camera screen :sob: like WHY... JUST USE A MIRROR.... tfw your rearview mirror doesn't work when the car is off... what a dumb design ALSO I SUPPORT YOUR INSISTENCE ON SET MIXTAPES FOR SPECIFIC TIMES/PLACES/ENVIRONMENTS/ETC. IM WITH YOU double edit: driver's tests are different in every state. My husband just got his and his test-giver had him drive around one (1) parking lot and didn't take him to any lights or bigger roads, which is horrifying.
Hi! I actually worked as housekeeping assistant in an American hotel! We were supposed to replace the soaps and shampoos every time we cleaned a room, though I did know plenty of housekeepers and housekeeping assistants who'd leave them if they looked 'untouched'
When it comes to Norway, Sweden and Finland I always think of them as the exact same place but one has red houses, one has yellow and the other has blue
For your eyes, if you have an opposing script, -.25 and the other +.25 say, then its possible you adapted to the change and use the + eye for reading and the - eye for distance. Its similar to bifocals contacts. Or some people actually get Mason to do this. Either this, or your eyes were strained which can abruptly heal.
i've always lived around beaches because i was born in the philippines. we've got beautiful, clear, and lukewarm turquoise waters. it's so easy to immerse yourself in the nearby ecosystems because beaches in the philippines are individual islands that you're boated to. so, there's going to be a bunch of stunning coral reefs and a lot of living things. personally, the diversity of the biology and the beauty of it all are why i enjoy beaches. oh, and the sand too.
Worked at a hotel: 1) Taking the soap does not really matter. If you leave it in the room and its unopened, housekeeping will leave it there for the next guest. If its opened and unused, hskp will throw it away. Some hotels have change to dispensers on the showers so that they can just refill them instead of replace them all the time. 2) While yes, all linens are supposed to be taken and washed, sometimes if they look clean, hskp might be lazy and just change the tops. 3) At least in the US, internet is a must in all hotels. Still not as good as home internet. My hotel had like 20mbps speeds for "Enhanced High Speed Internet" when 1Gbps speeds are possible in this area. 4) Toilet paper rolls are only changed when its very low. At my hotel they would put the "low" rolls in the employee bathrooms. There were new ones as well in case there were no more low ones. 5) My hotel brand requested a minimum of double the cost for sale price for beverages. Its technically a commodity not having to leave the hotel to get stuff. Some people staying dont care about prices. 6) Pools are extremely expensive to maintain (At least in the US). A lot of hotels are getting rid of them for this reason after Covid.
I think the reason you can't report ghosts by clicking on them is because the system has to see what you're saying is an anomaly. The ghost is invisible, but through the camera you can see it like the Goryo. So you just have to tell the system there's a ghost in this area
I'm not TSA, however, regarding the 3-1-1 liquids rule, people can insert colorless, odorless chemicals into or replace water. For instance Nitroglycerin which is indistinguishable from water when viewed. The reason for the 100mL or 3.4 ounce exception is because of the little amount in such a small volume wouldn't cause an actual explosion if brought onto the plane. Also, frozen water is completely allowed as liquid explosives are unable to be frozen and empty bottles are completely a-okay to fill after screening!
Congrats on buying a house! About the hotel soap question - there actually are some companies now that take hotel soaps grind them down, sterilize and create new soap. It’s a great idea.
Outlook hotel -Sounds very much like tge Overlook Hotel, The Shining, lifts look the same, and very 1960s carpets with the brown and orange. Scary!! 😊😅
The bottles on airplane thing is 1) so people can't hide things as easily and 2) the pressure!! You don't want a huge bottle of something exploding in your bags because of the pressure on the plane. Imagine a 2 litre bottle of soda exploding EVERYWHERE on all of your belongings. That's why there's a limit

to answer the bowling shoes question-- the floors in bowling alleys are greased for the bowling balls, and apparently slippery shoes enables the bowler to have more fluidity in bowling (i don't believe that reasoning tho) i've always believed the shoes are to preserve their floor coating

It’s so funny when there’s an anomaly and you’ve skipped through all cams twice and then chat just blasts you 🤣🤣 I’m glad you’re self aware 😂good stuff tho keep up the good work 😇
"Finland is too far away" *laughs in Texan*
bro don't call me out at 52:35 man XD i'm that person who makes the huge double chest storage room lol
Good stuff :o)
idk if it's been said, but the Hotel level is based off of Stephen King's "The Shining" and the real hotel the one in the book is based on, "The Stanley Hotel" in Colorado, is haunted
i love how Insym tells the story about the hotel soaps :D
In my case, I do tend to take those home, because... you paid for it, right? I mean, you paid for the room and to use everything in there (except food. Hotel food is expensive AF). Also, it feels like a waste, especially those tiny bar of soap. Other than hotel soap smells nice, they are also the perfect size to throw in your travel kit LOL
I remember the first time I had travel to Japan, before we left our hotel, I was able to keep 6 sets of toiletries (soap, disposable toothbrush, toothpaste, shower gel, laundry plastic/case) lol
Little thiefsym confesses his criminal activities only to find out he was stealing something he actually bought. So innocent.
6:32 That's just an average finnish summer cottage
10:31 ''overwhelmed by naked people'' ah yes
very reletable
I love that not only that hanged person in train window was there like half of the night, but even when Insym spot it and report, door was fixed, person stays there for rest of the shift and even chat was so into conversation that all missed it 😅
This honestly is the best thing to see pop up during breakfast, right before crummy work grind
LET'S GOOOO!
Insym = Great start to the day woot!
As a Fin, I probably did the fastest double take in a history of a mankind when Insym read the Northern Finland part 😂
Also:
1) Yes Finland is not part of Scandinavia! We are part of Nordics but Scandinavia is Sweden and Norway and sometimes Denmark and Iceland
2) In the Midsummer (Saturday that falls between June 20th and 26th) the sun doesn't set in Finland! In some parts of Finland, the sun doesn't really set for most of the summer
3) You don't really need to be a millionaire to own a summer cottage! Sure, it's expensive but most of them are family cottages that are self built and are sometimes rented out to others! Renting one is not all that expensive (depending what type of cottage you rent)
4) Nordic countries seem very similar to each other, but you really need to either live here or visit outside of the capital cities to really experience the differences! Nordic countries have had long history together and many wars with each other that our cultures have mixed together quite alot!
As a Norwegian I second everything in this comment
Cope
Music, among other things, has the power to attach itself to memories. If you consistently play it and it's fixed rather than just being an ever-changing spotify playlist then it really helps bind and recall memories. Sometimes when playing an old song I'll get a flashback to some game I was playing way back when I first listened to it.
That's why boss music is so powerful in games, the fact you always hear that music and always associate it with the boss, rather than it being whatever background music you had on at the time...
That was really fun! Thank you for playing, Insym!
I literally just checked to see if there was a new game last week. So excited for more. These games are so simple, but extremely fun.
The reason for the hygiene swim shorts thingy is because before this rule was put in place people wore the swim shorts as regular shorts the whole day and then took a swim in those
top 10 things i didnt need to know (number 5 will surprise you)
no but seriously thats gross im glad a rule was made to prevent that
I am so happy you play it again! here the other day, i was thinking to my self, ohh i could see some Oberservation Duty and just chill. And now you are playing it! such an honor to follow you on you're journey.
You know it's good whem UA-cam doesn't categorize it as FNAF or Half-life..
omg real
Hi, I'm that dude who has the giant inflatable animals at the pool :P
1:06:42
tho not the giant 10 people ones that take up a majority of the pool
we try to be respectful of those around so that we can also have our fun!
Congratulations On Your New Place! Theres nothing like moving into a new bigger place and finally feeling at home! I am so happy for you ❤
The way you're talking about thinking that everyone loves hiking gave me the biggest jumpscare ever... living and growing up in Austria seems nice for people that like hiking, but it was pure horror for me :o
17:32 it works, the floor elevates with the swings. My grandaunt had one of those, so it is nostalgic to see it.
thank you for this video, its the only thing I found that could help me stop crying
HECK YAAA OBSERVATION DUTY! 🎉
Also @17:30 i used to swing on swing benches like that with my cousins. It's nice! It definitely touches the floor a little but that's because of use over a long time hahah. :)
You should try those out, it's a neat little experience 💖
The conversation about Vacation CDs I could relate so much to.
46:37 by far THE MOST scary thing in this entire video. I was watching this stream during late evening yesterday in my apartment by myself and I had pretty much no lights on so seeing that made me feel SO uneasy
I don't like sand. It's coarse, and rough, and irritating, and it gets everywhere.
re the car with no back window. one of the dumbest things ive ever seen in real life was while driving, some lady was driving a car that had a rearview mirror but instead of a mirror it was a camera screen :sob: like WHY... JUST USE A MIRROR.... tfw your rearview mirror doesn't work when the car is off... what a dumb design
ALSO I SUPPORT YOUR INSISTENCE ON SET MIXTAPES FOR SPECIFIC TIMES/PLACES/ENVIRONMENTS/ETC. IM WITH YOU
double edit: driver's tests are different in every state. My husband just got his and his test-giver had him drive around one (1) parking lot and didn't take him to any lights or bigger roads, which is horrifying.
Hell yeah! So glad to see you playing this, I originally found you from Observation Duty :D Let's goooo
Mason = lasik. Hate autocorrect
i've always lived around beaches because i was born in the philippines. we've got beautiful, clear, and lukewarm turquoise waters. it's so easy to immerse yourself in the nearby ecosystems because beaches in the philippines are individual islands that you're boated to. so, there's going to be a bunch of stunning coral reefs and a lot of living things. personally, the diversity of the biology and the beauty of it all are why i enjoy beaches. oh, and the sand too.
Worked at a hotel:
1) Taking the soap does not really matter.
Can we just appreciate the fact that the dev used some normal-ish paintings this time around.
has to say as a swede that there is big diffrence between the nordic countries and yes it is apart of scandinavia :D
btw love your videos
how are the meatballs /hj
1:17:46
See i'm troubled here, i like beaches, but i have never heard a man spit more facts in my time on earth xD
That's why there's a limit
the TSA talk is so funny cause they miss like, 95% of shit anyways. they're ineffective and still in place
Congratulations on the new home Insym! My husband and I just bought a house as well and I have been listening to your videos while I unpack boxes.
This has been an episode of "How much I relate to Insym"
Yeah. Insym feels like a Prius guy. 👀
whenever i watch you play observation duty games with my mom, she almost always seems to point something out that you dont see for a few minutes and always wishes she could type to you so you could have gotten it sooner
Lmao public saunas sound absolutely gross. All the chat topics in this video have been great. Can't wait for more :D
Quick summary of the video: Finland gets roasted for being what makes Scandinavian manhood a real Manhood.
I usually detest shenanigans of this kind - but I respect Insym's point of view. And it was relatively well-served.
The outdoor saunas are very common up north where people usually have summer cottages. :D Nice that some games bring Finland to the map!
"The law of vacation CDs" - Insym
Yesss!! Observation Dutyy!!! ❤🎉 Also tat booty at the beginning at the game 😂
I have my radio on a rock n roll station to sleep. 😅
to answer the bowling shoes question-- the floors in bowling alleys are greased for the bowling balls, and apparently slippery shoes enables the bowler to have more fluidity in bowling (i don't believe that reasoning tho) i've always believed the shoes are to preserve their floor coating
This new system for scanning anomalies is sooo nice. Now you can confirm whether a specific item is an anomaly. That's so nice
Watching you play I’m on Observation Duty is always fun! Also congrats on purchasing a home!
28:32 That was a perfect duck noise
