Jalapeño Popper Cheese Bread

  • such a yummy treat! Jalapeño cheese bread
    8 ounce block of cream cheese
    microwave for 45 seconds
    add soften cream cheese to a bowl
    2 jalapeños diced
    1/2 cup sour cream
    1 teaspoon grated garlic
    season with salt and pepper
    2 tablespoon chopped green onions
    1 cup shredded Colby jack cheese
    mix everything together
    take a baking tray and line with aluminum foil
    1 loaf fresh Italian or French bread from the bakery
    slice the bread in half
    pull some of the bread out from the center - making a small indentation
    spread half of the cream cheese mixture on both breads
    cover the top with shredded colby jack cheese
    garnish the top of the cheese with thin slices of jalapeños
    garnish with some chopped parsley
    spray aluminum foil with non stick cooking spray
    loosely cover the bread with it
    bake at 400°F for 15 minutes
    remove the foil from the top and broil for 2 to 3 minutes
    let bread sit for 5 minutes before slicing!
