update: engineer attended today, it is the pressure sensor, needs replacing. costs around £45 for the part, unsure what labour will be.

Great vid cheers. My gauge started on 1.7 and i took it to 1.9 and that was enough to clear the F75. On working it rose to 2.4 then fell back when switched off. Clearly it needs a gas engineer but to get hot water and heat till and engineer arrives by xmas 😀 is a god send. Thanks again! 😊

Hiya Mark, I really like your videos, you seem to really know your stuff; I have a Glow work boiler and because it's still going strong after fourty years I would like to know if you recommend the newer models of this make or do you recommend a different make that would give me similar reliability, thank you for your time; (it is for a semi detached three bed house)
Just posted in your other video. I need help on how to stop the F9 fault coming up. I have to reset every time, I have bled heaters but every few days. I can't get a service until March so l'm lost what to do. I have a glow worm ultracom 30cxi. Would appreciate any advice 🙏🏼

Hi Mark! Thank you for the video but I have a different problem.
My boiler was stuck at 2.8 pressure. Water heating working but the House is not heated. I reset the boiler nothing changed. I dont get any error messages.
After watching the video I realized that the 2.8 pressure is too much so I opened the valve and let some water out. While emptying the water the pressure reads 0.3 but as soon as I clsoe the valve it jumps back upto 2.0 and slowly increasing. And heating is still not working.
Should I wait a long time and let all of the water out?
Hi mark! I did the pressure technique you suggested about adding pressure in the boiler and this fixed it!
But my question is, what makes pressure issues occur in the first place? Is there something I need to keep an eye on or?
I had the F75 error, emptied the water and cleaned this sensor. After the replacement I increased the pressure bht the boiler showed different pressure values, it kept changing until it stabilized and showed a correct pressure. The error code disappeared. The problem is that even after the replacement there is no warm water coming. Do you have an idea what is causing this? Thanks

Older Glowworm boilers F9 is a global fault , means it's not necessarily the pressure sensor

Hello thank you for your video. How do I communicate to my gas supplier or engineer, that my boiler keeps switching off. The engineer seems to think that this is not a problem that he can fix, that this is a gas supply problem. Thank you
What do you mean by switch off.
Power goes off, no display?
Fault code like F29-F28? they would be gas faults.
Write down exactly what happens and when it stops working. video it, take photos, this is always very useful for the engineers.
That's all you can do.
If it's under guarantee call manufacturers.
Hi Mark, I’ve just moved into a new house. I am getting an f26 fault on a gloworm 24hxi boiler and a kettle noise from it.
Any advice would be appreciated.

So my glow worm boiler is heating water I have hot water in the taps just no central heating. My radiators are on but non are giving out heat. The boiler reads 1.0 pls help

I have a similar problem. Did you manage to figure it out? My boiler reads 2.8. I get water heating but not the house.
Same problem, water is fine but as soon as I try to put heating on after a few minutes f75 comes on, pressure sensor has been changed to no avail,

@@mbz4652 nope, I have rang glow worm and signed up for their cover plan, £57 a month for a minimum of 6 months, they will fix it or replace the boiler, they are coming Tuesday

I have got 6 different engineers who change one after another including boiler, but F75 error is still exist. Can u please visit my place and help me out? Its milton keynes and i have range unvented tank and energy 30c boiler. Tank is also linked with kingspan solar panel which is working fine.
