- In this video, I show you my film cameras. Then I show you a book about photography, some films and some pictures that I took with those cameras.
Some sounds are a bit rough, I would recommend not putting the volume too high while watching this video.
I use flashes in this video, therefore it may not be suitable for people having an epilepsy history, I don't know, I'm no doctor, but be safe, don't watch the video if you believe this may harm you !
I'm sorry about the noise my microphone makes, I can't do much about it :/

I love the bit with the flash gun. It is great to see the look on your face as you enjoy the recharging sound and the cool, retro weirdness of it all. I grew up with this technology, but have lost that magical excitement over the many years. My first camera had flash cubes. Each bulb was destroyed when you used it, but you could turn it around to take four photographs before replacing it. You wouldn't have wanted to play with that, as it would have cost too much to waste them (though I did once use one to make a wizard's staff for a fancy dress party). The camera I inherited from my grandfather was even older technology, with individual bulbs in a reflector which you had to replace after each shot.
French accent + whispering + ASMR orientated. This is the one and only way to my heart.
Per capita, the French are much more cooler and interesting than the rest of the world. I'm convinced of this.
I have never seen some of the cameras you have. This was very interesting, and I enjoyed all the clicking sounds :)
Very nice older analog cameras.
Congratulations, fellow photographer! Timing is everything and I recently enjoyed this video so I'm commenting in 2021 here! You are very talented, pretty and smart... and I luv your internet art!
It was so nice to see a video from you today. Cool Cameras ! I loved your Flash. Thanks for a wonderful ASMR experience :)
Such a lovely video. Thank you!
I really liked the clicking on your second camera, the black one. Very effective ASMR trigger, I think. Very nice. Well done, thank you.
lovely video , you seem very passionate about your camera's and photography in general so it was nice to hear you talk about something you enjoy , sounds were great and you made it interesting to watch , merci beaucoup :)
I really like the sound the blue Polaroid camera makes when you close it again!
Another relaxing ideo, thanks BTM.
Also just realized your english is great for a french-native. C'est maginifique!
Such a pleasant smile and a lovely accent you have, made this a very relaxing video. Hoping for more soon :)
Hello :)
I have a personal tumblr and a blog about my youtube channel, its link is on my profile :)
Fantastic :) Love the Canon. That's just before the AE-1.
It's strange but in the 90s you could easily purchase Polaroid film, now gone.
I know! I bought mine only 5 years ago or something and now It's almost impossible

It seems to me that maybe in France people want the simpler things, which is good, how did you get into film cameras, when everyone loves Digital these days? There is a added charm to them that's for sure, but when you can bypass the photolab and have instant digital photos its no wonder Polaroid lost, you can win?
I don't remember how I got into film cameras, I've never had great digital cameras and film cameras are cheap so I started like that :)
It's easier to like your photos when you can only take 30 of them per film and that you are careful about the photo you are about to take I suppose.

That is true, in the 90s there we no digital cameras in the marketplace, I'm sure some colleges probably had 1x megapixel, which is very poor quality for 100s of dollars. You can't beat a real shutter, the color from analog cameras are real color. But it seem that digital cameras are making photos look far greater than analog. And you are right, now we can take 200 photos and keep them on memory card for years, it's hard to appreciate digital if you've never used analog, but I have so it makes a difference.
Long time no see!! Love it!!
Hi, don't know if you've discovered this already, but Polaroid 600 film is easily available on ebay. I assume it takes 600 film being a Polaroid 600 camera! There's quite a good stock by the look of it. Love the video too, could listen to the sound of the Canon all day long. Do the same with my own film cameras endlessly.
Aren't old Canons wonderful? I have an AE-1 Program that is simply my beloved go-to for film.
They really are, but I wish I could use mine right. For some reason my photographs are always out of focus :(
Have you tried a tripod?
I don't think it would help, stability is not the issue, it's just that the camera doesn't focuses anymore
Is it an SLR? It could just be the lens.
skotnoctis I know the lens is somewhat broken, so that's probably that
Woaw you got cameras we should see in a museum!!!
So so SOOOO GREAT O_O
Thanks that was amazing!!!!;D
DISPAR!!!!
Very unique.
Bonjour!
wow i stumbled upon this video again. alot has happened, and i no longer have a digital camera for a few years now, and have only been shooting wiht a film camera for the last few years lol.
Wholeheartedly agree, monsieur.
amazing 😀
Bonjour, très bonne décision je me suis également lancé dans l'argentique, j'ai donc acheté un minolta x300!
PS: J'adore tes vidéos, continues c'est génial !
Merci beaucoup pour ton soutien!! :)
I love film cameras too...and I've borrowed a Canon Ex Auto, the type of your camera (CMIIW), a few months ago. What brand of film roll do you like to use?
Your face is so cute and relaxing *w*
So charming.
Nope the old F1 canon has the best sound! :) phulunka
you're beautiful!
Thank you a lot!! :)
do you shoot with digital too?
Hello!
I did shot with digital too but I don't currently have a proper digital camera.
BehindTheMoons cool. i started getting into digital photography last year. I am curious about film, but it seems much more difficult.
Well it's definitely more difficult to make good pictures with a film camera
Good.
I passed!
As others have probably mentioned, these cameras are just *begging* to be used in a photoshoot role play. 📸
Tu fais beaucoup d'argentique ou de lomographie?
Bonjour :)
Non, pas beaucoup en ce moment malheureusement, j'ai eu peu de temps pour moi récement, mais ça va changer ;)
do you have a blog/tumblr?? :-)
I loved this video and the most recent one you did with the color samples, I hope you'll make more!
I see someone else commented to let you know Polaroid film was available on ebay but there's also new film available. - shop.the-impossible-project.com/shop/film/600
