There is always time for your projects but kid's projects take priority. Our children grow too fast and are gone we want them to always have great memories of their youth and of their mom and dad to share. Family first always. You guys represent that philosophy so well. God bless.
I'm looking forward to the shop build out and seeing that place cleaned up a bit.We use those containers with a 30 foot spread between them and A frame low profile roof. They turn out great.
Ben, watching you work on vehicles with your children makes me think of what it must have been like when you and your brothers were working alongside papa Sherm. You are a great dad.
My 6.0 LS had a roller come apart on the bottom of a lifter. The breather on the drivers side rear valve cover sucks oil into the intake. There is an improved valve cover with an extended baffle. It did help with the oil being sucked into the intake, but did not stop it all. I ended up capping off that breather. The vent on the passenger side front valve cover was enough to ventilate the motor. It did stop the oil from accumulating in the intake. I did have to rebuild the motor because of all the metal in the oil. Good luck, your channel is awesome!!
Ben make a go fund me for a car lift i bet everyone would pitchin and get you one. Anyone reading this lets help Ben out and get him a chananger lift or some kind of lift. Please 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Don't ever apologize for being a great dad for your family. Teaching your family how to be independent adults is the most important part of parenting. So many kids today have no role models, and their own parents wouldn't listen to their parents. So they didn't learn anything 🤔, now they don't have any life skills to pass down. When I see your family outside doing something, it's refreshing. Your family will be more capable of surviving when life throws a curve ball. I'm so proud to see the kids doing something to expand their knowledge and appreciation for what they have. Now, let's see what carnage LS has for Ben today. If it's really bad, I hurd thair is a 1,000 hp LS in a wrecker somewhere 😂😂😂.
Fun watching you do stuff I’d never dare do like pulling your engine. Freaking love how you’re just making what you got work. Someday you’re gonna look back at these days and be amazed I think.
@@LeeHigginson Ben and I both have had so many times started over. The way you succeed is using what you have and working with the ones you love. If you do those two things you never fail and everything is so much better. I am amazed when I see where we started to where we are. Miracles happen everyday. Thank you so much for watching and spending your time supporting our family. We really appreciate it!
@@bandmsgarage I’m happy to help out and will keep doing it. You guys inspire me to keep going on my little channel too. One day when I get my great grandpas old 47 Ford 2N running I’d love to come try out some brush hogging on your property. This is my video I put together about that. It’s a miracle that I got the chance to buy it. Miracles do happen! ua-cam.com/video/450t_J_KsoI/v-deo.htmlsi=Og68uKgASnCv1Gcc
Ben is the only true old school shade tree mechanic on UA-cam. Working with the heat and rain and repairing under a trap on the ground without a lift. The children are learning how to work with what you have to get it done. Always a fun time and forgot the insects too. Brings back memories of working with Dad in the 1960s on my 1957 ford fairlane in the dirt at night with drop cord after he got off from work.
You are a good dad, Ben. Your kids have no idea how good they have it. I, for one, have watched you and knew the motor was secondary to more important things. You do it when you can, and that's all that matters.
Good morning in my opinion the kids should help you work on your truck since you always make it a priority to help them. Plus it would be a learning experience for them
Ben, you're a great guy with everyone and especially when it comes to your family you're always their for them and their projects. That's what great dads do. Keep up with your great work and videos and family and your projects and you'll be just fine.
Watching your boys appear with projects when you're working on your own so reminded me of when my son's were kids. They aren't stupid if you think about it. They're thought process is well if I can't figure it out then Dad will! I sure miss those days.
I inherited my old man’s 02 foreman. A few do this black wheel plastics will do that thing wonders for looks if you ever want it looking nice. LOVE that Rocky Mountain ATV is in town.
Hey Ben love watching your show when you're working with your boys reminds me of me working with my dad he was a mechanic and got put in a wheelchair and I became his right hand man I really enjoy watching brings back a lot of memories thank you and God bless you
The reason there is no room in the machinery areas of modern vehicles is that they use computers to design them. In the 3D models, they can see all that room and they use it up if they can. It used to be that you could get into the engine bay with the engine, not any more. They like to fill up the "wasted" spaces with more plastic to make the engine compartment more aesthetically pleasing.
Awesome family! You take the time for your children. Don't apologize for not working on your truck. I just wish that my x- would have done that with my children. Thank you for sharing your family ❤❤😊
Finally got to work on your project and get the motor out of the truck. Still good to be able to help the boys with their learning progress and doing things on their own. Hope you get the truck running before the snow flies!
I caught my problem before it got as bad as yours. The valve covers don’t drain well enough. I ended up drilling a few more holes so it can drain. Its the AFM on the gm motors. You end up with stuck lifters. You tube channel CRAZIED PERFORMANCE help alot.
Hey Ben, the valve cover gaskets on my trucks have always been a problem, i change them as often as i can. also, one of the best upgrades ive done to my engines is the trunion bearing kit for the rockers! Makes it very quiet

You do awesome work and have an awesome family, please lock your bucket with mechanical locks when working under it. Don't rely on valves to hold it in place. I lost a very good friend that was crushed by his bobcat bucket while walking under it. It was his fault when he did a very stupid thing of getting off the seat while it was lifted in the air and while getting out, his coveralls hooked the pedal dropping the bucket on him.
I'm glad to see you got some snow in Utah. Especially when you burn cardboard in a barrel you have white snowflakes all over the damn place, I know I've been there I've done that.
Ben, I am curious about your sun shade there. It seems to me that having the black side up absorbs the heat and having the silver side up would replel the heat. Next time, put it with the silver side up and let us know if it makes any difference, would you please?
hey ben you take your time when ya get done is fine you are not on a time clock for u tube or any one i love that you all switch around on jobs i like it more youre doing fine archie out
' Ben turns in to the dad magnet. He starts working on his stuff and the boys just gently migrate out to work on their stuff along side of him' .... never thought about it before , but yeah i can totally relate to that
Ben... Shame you couldn't get Challenger Lifts to sponser you getting a lift to make it easier for you to work on vehicles. Of course you would have to pour a slab to mount it to.
Built-in PCV valve in the valve cover is the culprit when it comes to your oil consumption. AFM lifter failed causing the ticking noise. That's my guess.
