Warning if animals shed and cant do it on their own dont remove the shed, bathe them on warm water for 20+ minutes with a hard surface object and leave till shed is loose and can be removed by the animal/pet (if u remove it it is extremely dangerous and unhealthy for the animal so please dont rip the shed off!)
this is partially correct, if the skin is coming off in small pieces that means it is not ready, but taking it off all in one piece is fine. they secrete oil underneath the shed skin that helps lubricate it to get it off. its fine to help as long is it is ready.
