Lmao it takes 2 to tango...they can't not want to date by themselves...the women don't want to date either....the both together have developed this dating subculture of hooking up and all of the b.s that follows when you live that way (God forbid a child come from those relationships)...I'm 40 so technically included in the millennial generation but I'm married with 3 kids and know many of our generation like me. Every singke man I know is looking for a good woman as well....I don't think the issue is men lacking to pursue. The 24/7 access to porn and social media has ruined men when it comes to dating now a very attractive girl in real life can be easily replaced by 1 million different fake girls online. Travis discussed his surgeries from injuries. Retirement is in relation to the physical injuries that he has already endured. This is why answers shouldn't be taken out of context.

The average retirement age in the NFL is 27. The majority of active players at the top of their game retire at around 35. Travis is 34 and has won two super bowls. He is in a very physically demanding sport in a very punishing position at tight end. Rob Gronkowski is the same age and played the same position and he retired already at 33. Of course he is thinking about retirement and I’m sure he would be with or without this relationship! These guys play football since they were little kids and then four years of college and then the NFL - it takes a toll. I hate it when people speak about things they do not understand. He has had multiple concussions and surgeries so give this man a break!
I dated a celebrity years ago at the time she was caught in a news story of global proportion and you just don’t want to say something that’ll create an issue for them. I thought he was saying that he doesn't want to talk about their relationship too much out of respect for Taylor and her privacy, not that he isn't being authentic or honest with her like Sunny said. Sometimes she runs with ideas that are totally off base (but boy I still love her). It is a delicate balance to date someone famous let alone someone at the insane level of Taylor Swift.

OH my soul. These woman got this wrong. No red flags. He didn't say he should hide who he is, he doesn't want to be to eager and scare her away, insinuating he likes her that much. Retirement he refers to his football career. He has had multiple big surgeries from injuries he sustained through football. His brother will be retiring soon from football. It is natural to then also think of retiring. But he will then move on to another career like most football players do. The article was not about his relationship. It was about football and his career. His relationship was just also covered. He is at the moment a big green flag. He is not intimidated by her or her success. I think when relationships are new and exciting it really gets hard when other aspects of your life struggle. Taylor had a bad experience in Brazil over the weekend, and any girl would want their partner there to support. He had a bad game and any guy would want their partner to support. It must have been really difficult.
They really needed a Kelce/football person to be on that stage for this conversation. They looked clueless

34 is middle age in football years. And Travis is a 34 year old tight end who just had knee surgery just this year. If you watch any of the games, (which is obvious none of the women on this show do) you can clearly see that he's moving a lot slower and less explosive than he used to. I think these ladies, or at least the producers of this show should try and do just the minimal amount of research before speaking with such conviction to at least give off an impression they have any sleight clue of what they're talking about.

34 is VERY old for a football player. Some players can get away with it like QB’s and kickers, but to be in one of the pure contact positions I don’t blame him at all for considering retirement.
Even before Taylor, Travis was doing his podcast, SNL, and numerous big-name commercials. He would have a big Second Act career after he retires whether he was with Taylor or not.

People need to remember that what’s put out into social media or even in publication….isn’t always 100% accurate and can be misconstrued by anyone…so it’s easy to conceive if a person has “red flags” or not…people are not talking or taking into account what other people who know him personally have said who have claimed he’s a good guy a “good egg”. Plus no one seems to be interested in how Taylor Swift feels…the media and public just seem interested in being critical of her new fella….let’s not forget that “social media” dug up old tweets by this guy and he’s being criticized for dumb stuff any 20 year old guy would have said…people seem to not give the benefit of the doubt anymore. It always bugs me how so many people are eager to see Taylor happy. This is a girl who has every reason to be happy: She was born genetically blessed with good looks; has an extremely supportive family that relocated to Nashville to support her career when she was a freaking teenager; comes from a well-to-do, upper middle-class family; has never experienced the kind of financial hardship or psychological trauma that defined so many artists; and who's become a billionaire co-writing relatively vanilla pop music. Trust me, she's happy. The rest of us are depressed.

Football players , average age of retirement is 27 . Some keep pushing because they love it. But in all honesty they need to retire early. Because in Football all the injuries. Have a big deal when people get older. Their old injuries cause problems later in life. Us normal people feel our injuries. And we weren't constantly getting hurt. He already has 10 surgeries behind him. When he retires , I believe the sooner he does it. The better his life will be. Believe me I adore Travis and Taylor together. I want them to have a happy life together. He will get so many opportunities off the field also. Best wishes for Travis. Especially with Taylor.

Look everyone assesses everyone else in terms of their liabilities and benefits. I've witnessed many women seek out men who would provide them with comfortable lives. Travis is smart enough to use this relationship to increase his own profile none of us knew who he was two months ago. He's hot but will he stimulate taylor enough, and will he remain faithful to her? Time will tell.

They’re a cute couple. But my intuitive hit is that she’d be more compatible with a business/finance type like her dad, and who can be financially savvy for here and supportive on the business side. I see Travis having a family with a “girl next door” type that isn’t in the spotlight, which can end up being too challenging in the long run.

I truly wish these women would stop commenting on things they have clearly no knowledge about or start doing a bit of research at the very least. If they knew more about Travis, they would know he is self-admittedly not good with words, he calls himself stupid, he is self-conscious about his intelligence. The “red flags” comments you are making are implications that he is a potentially abusive person and that is just plain awful. He is most likely not expressing his thoughts the way he means to - he was most likely trying to say he simply wanted to respect her boundaries and didn’t want to say anything publicly until he knew what she was comfortable with sharing with others. He has communication issues - leave him alone, it is so ableist of you guys to attack him this way simply for clickbait. He is kind and everyone who actually knows Travis and/or Taylor are saying nothing but positive things about their connection. Their opinions should be the only ones that matter. The fact you are the only ones who are trying to find negative things to pick apart says more about you and this show than anything else. Part of responsible journalism/media work is doing your research before making damning comments. Please do that before adding more negativity to an already hostile world.
